The following are the minutes of the widen- ing of the road leading from the corner near the house of Amos Stevens by the house of Benj- amin S' Barnes as laid out by the Selectmen Oct 27 th 1858 Beginning at a Stake by the wall in front of Said Barn's house on the South side of the road and running South b1 degrees and 45 minutes West three rods and twenty links in land og Said Barnes to a Stake thence South 58 degrees 4 30 minutes west 5 rods and 2 links to a Stake, thence South 56 degrees West brods and 13 links to a Stake thence South 53 degrees west Il rods and b links to the wall between land of said. Barnes and John Hale Thence through land of said Hale South 52 degrees west 41 rods and 9 links to a stake by the fence near the house of Amos Stevens thence in same course about one rod through land of Said Barnes to the road, laying the road about three rods wide
This proposed alteration requires Mr. Barnes to move 26 rods and 16 links of his wall and takes from him thirty square rods of land and the subscribers have awarded him twenty dollars fordamage It also requires Mr Hate to more 41 rods and nine links, of his wall and takes
