[142] 5th Voted Whereas by a late act of Congrefs sundry men are to be raised and to hold themselves in readinefs as minute men Agreably to said Act pafsed the ninth day of May 1794 therefore


Voted that All those who will turn out Voluntary both Non Commifioned Officers and privates, Sufficient to Compleat the number called for from this town, shall have their poles Exempt from any taxes which may be made on the Inventory to be taken the next Aprill-and be it further Voted that this town will insure that the wages of said men if they are Calld into Service, shall be made up to them Eaquel to forty Shillings pr month includeing what they may be intitled to receive from the Congrefs of the united States or from this State to be computed from the time of their march and a reasonable time for them to return after their discharge


6th Voted to adjourn this meeting to the Eight day of Decm next at this place at One OClock P. M.

To Augustus Stores one of Constables of the Town of Han- over You are hereby required to warn the Inhabitants of the town of Hanover who are legal Voters in Town meting to meet at the South meeting house in Sd town on monday the 22ª day of this Instant at 3 oClock P. M. to act on the following Arti- cles (Viz)


I. to Chuse a Moderator to Govern sª meeting


2ª to see if the town will discontinue any roat laid out by the Selectmen of late


3ª to say where the road shall be leading from Capt™ Stephen Kimbols by Benjn Tiffeny to Labanon line and to Act on the Above Articles as Shall then be thought proper
