Application having this day been made to us by Ebenezer Brewster Rufus Graves & Aaron Hutchinfon proprietors for building Bridges Over Connecticut river between the mouth of White river & two miles north of the mouth of mink brook, to View the Ground for laying out A road and A proper Allow- ance for a Butment to accommodate A Bridge they propose Erecting Over Sª Connecticut river near the Ferry lately kept by Joseph Lewis-have Accordingly Viewed the Ground and are of opinion that they have the free use of the road that is now travelled from the Colledge plain to Sd river for the pur- pose of erecting & useing said Bridge and that they have free liberty to erect A butment in Sd Hanover any where within twenty rods north of the usual place of coming to the river as the road now goes in a way not to hinder the Accefs to the river at or near where the road now goes for any purposes who chuse to Go to the same draw up timber or Any thing Else
