The subscribers hereto request you to call a meeting of the Inhabitants of said town to be held on the 19th day of Decr Instant at ten of the clock in the morning-to consider of and act upon the following matters viz


to chufe a moderator to govern said meeting-to inquire into the state of the fund raifed for the payment of the demand which this state had against us for taxes prior to 1784-and to take Effectual meafures to call any perfons to an account who may misapplied the same-also-to inquire into inquire into the state of expenditures on the part of the selectmen-and the several forfeitures on the part of the delinquents in the late affair of the breaking out ye small pox in this town-how such Expenditures have been paid-and forfitures have been applied-and to take some effectual measures to have said matters adjusted and settled-to raife such sum or sums in money or produce as on inquiry may appear need full to answer any Just demands against the town relating to any of the aforesaid matters-and to pafs and allow any accounts which may lye against the town refpecting the sums which appear to be Just-and finaly to adopt some method for a final and compleat settlement of taxes or debts due to the town and likewife for the payment of such as the owe-
