Alice Patrick Davey, 81 of Montclair, California died September 19, 1983 at Doctor's Hospital in Montclair. Alice was born October 25, 1901 in Chandler. Oklahoma and was self-employed in the real estate business for 30 years. She is survived by two nephews, H. Lee Minton of AuClaire, Wisconsin and James Patrick of

Collis Jordan of Kernville passed away at his home on September 21. He is survived by his daughter Ruth Jordan Allan of Kernville and preceeded in death by his wife Beatrice C. Jordan deceased in 1980.
Collis Jordan was a U.S. Army Veteran of WW I where he served in France as a rifle instructor. Following the war he served in Germany with the Army of Occupation. Mr. Jordan was a graduate of Ohio State University and was retired as a teacher for the
Los Angeles schools.
Collis Jordan was and expert marksman and was active in the Kern Valley Historical Society. He was also a member of WWI Barracks. Born. Dec. 10, 1893 in Wayne Township, Clermont County, Ohio, Collis Jordan was 89 years of age.

A funeral service was held Wednesday Oct. 5 at the Masonic Temple Kernville for Henry G. Wolf of Southlake. Officiating were officers of KRV Masonic Lodge No. 827. Mr. Wolf passed away Oct. 2 at the San Joaquin Hospital Bakersfield. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Mary J. Wolf of Southlake, daughter Jacqueline Auwarter of Glendale, grandsons Kane W. Auwarter of La Crescenta, Todd M. Auwarter of Tujunga, granddaughter Jennifer D. Auwarter of Glendale, brother Thomas of Chimayo, New Mexico and many friends here in the Kern River Valley.
Henry G. Wolf was a Mason since 1951 and was past master of the Culver City Masonic Lodge No. 497. He was a member of Kern River Valley Masonic Lodge No. 827, a member of KRV Elks Lodge No. 2358. A Noble of the Al Malaikah Temple of Los Angeles and the Lake Isabella Shrine Club. He was a member of KRV Moose Lodge No. 198 and of the Eagles KRV Aerie No. 3156.
Henry Wolf was retired from MGM Studios Culver City, in 1975, after 28 years as a camera repairman.

Orie Beal was retired from the Rock Island U.S. Arsenal in Rock Island, Illinois, born August 19, 1916 in Des Moines, Iowa, Orle Leroy Beal was 67 years of age. Interment at the U.S. National Cemetery Rock Island, Illinois. Arrangements by Valley Mortuary of Lake Isabella and Runge Mortuary of Davenport, Iowa.
Everett F. Rowland
Everett F. Rowland, 67, passed away in Las Vegas, Nev., died Sunday, October 2 in Valley Hospital, Las Vegas, following a coronary arrest some days previous.
He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Moose Lodge 498 in the Kern River Valley. He had lived in Pico Rivera and worked in various places in the Los Angeles area for many years.
Survivors include wife, Lala and three sons; Craig Lopez of San Pedro, Raymond Lopez of San Francisco and Joe Lopez of Bellflower; also a brother Albert and a sister, Max.
Rowland was laid to rest in Rose Hill Cemetery, Whittier, following services conducted by his cousin, Wayne Rowland, a retired Air Force Chaplain

OBITUARY
MICHAEL J. GUSTY
A graveside funeral service was held Monday Nov. 7 at the Kern River Valley Cemetery for Michael James Gusty of Lake Isabella. Officiating were officers of Kern River Valley Masonic Lodge No. 827 of which Mr. Gusty was a member. Michael Gusty passed away Nov.4 at his residence. He is survived by his wife Dorothea of Lake Isabella, stepsons Burford Samuel Pelton of Los Angeles, Clifford L. Pelton of Puerto Rico and four grandchildren. Mr. Gusty was a Kern River Valley pioneer who had resided here for nearly fifty years. He was instrumental in the early
development of Lake Isabella, contributing to the installation of the first telephones, the first water System in Lake Isabella, the layout of many of the roads and highways we now regularly use, and the formation of the taxpayers association.
Michael Gusty was retired as a plumbing and electrical contractor and during WWII operated a Tungsten mining operation in Havilah.
A master Mason and a member of the Masons for over 50 years Michael James Gusty was 88 years of age ..
Interment at the Kern River Valley cemetery. Arrangements by Valley Mortuary.

OBITUARY
Christine Marie Trapani
Christine Marie Trapani passed away locally on Tuesday, Oct. 25. Mrs. Trapani was born July 6, 1895, in Italy, the youngest of seven children.
She carne to America and was married to Mario Trapani, Sr., on January 13, 1917, in Boston, Mass. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1971; by a son, Staff Sergeant Eugene Trapani who was killed in Germany in World War II, and by a daughter, Yolandı Winscott, in 1979.
Surviving are her eldest daughter Rosalie R. Pazzelli of Kernville with whom she had resided the past four years; a son, Marlo Trapani, Jr., of Lakeport; a granddaughter, Jeannie Maestri and a great- granddaughter, Genevieve Maestri, both of Upland.
Interment was on Oct. 31 in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale.

Walter Bradshaw Simpson passed away in Kernville, Tues. Nov. 8. Mr. Simpson was born in Sheridan, Montana, August 14, 1894.
He was the youngest and the last to survive of 8 children.
