WARSAW, IND.,
A prosperous commercial and manufacturing town, of 3500 inhabitants, pleasantly located on the line of the P., Ft. W. & C., and C., W. & M. Rys, the county seat of Kosciusko county. The town is within sight of the Tippecanoe river, surrounded by a very rich agricultural country. A large number of pleasure seekers visit this city every year, the chief feature of attraction in that respect being three beau- tiful lakes, known as Pike, Eagle and Center Lakes. The new court house, costing $200,000, is one of the finest structures of the kind in northern Indiana. Many substan- tial business blocks have been erected in the last few years. The town supports several excellent schools, a public library, five churches, three hotels, two banks, one daily and two weekly newspapers.
Among the manufacturing interests is the large foundry and machine works of Mr. C. Smith, planing mill, saw mill, two flour mills, and bent wood factory. American and Adams Express. Western Union Telegraph. John N. Runyan, Postmaster.
