Book-keeping is taught as a real living record of actual transactions by a practical book-keeper.


The students are required to regard themselves as actually taking part in the various kinds of business represented. and therefore as per- sonally interested in book-keeping as applied in its various forms to Wholesale and Retail Merchandising, Jobbing and Importing, Commis- sion, Forwarding Agency, Banking, Brokerage and Exchange Business.


ACTUAL BUSINESS.


In this part of the Course the student fills minor and important posi- tions in our regular Commission House, Jobbing llouse, Transportation Office, Wholesale Department and College Bank. Ile orders and fils orders, buys and sells according to the daily market and stock reports; thus performing a volume of business with a degre . of reality that would astonish many of our most successful business men.


WHEN TO COMMENCE.


As each student receives special attention, and as there are no term divisions, pupils may enter at any time and advance as rapidly as their application and ability will allow. If you are ready, now is the time to commence.

ALBION, IND:


Is the county seat of Noble County, and contains 1400 inhabitants, situated on the Baltimore & Ohio railroad, 33 miles north west of Fort Wayne, 130 miles north-east of Indianapolis, and 128 miles east of Chicago. This town was incorporated in 1870, and is steadily increasing in point of commerce and manufacturing. It supports six churches, one bank, three hotels, a good graded school, and two week- ly newspapers.


Among the manufacturing enterprises are two flour mills, planing and saw mill, foundry and machine works, and the usual quota of smaller industries. Grain of all kind is largely grown and comprises its chief export. Baltimore & Ohio Express; W. U. Telegraph. James Greenman, Postmaster.
