I., as follows: battery A, June 6, 1861 ; battery B, August 13, 1861; battery C, August 26, 1861; battery D, September 4, 1861 ; battery E, September 23, 1861; bat- tery F, October 29, 1861; battery G, in December, 1861, and battery H, October 14, 1862, all to serve three years. Theoriginal members (except veterans) of battery C were mustered out August 27, 1864. The veterans and recruits were trans- ferred to battery G. On the expira- tion of the term of service of bat- teries A, B, D, E, F, and G, the original members (except veterans) were mustered out, and the organi- zations, composed of veterans and recruits, retained in service.
