To either of the Constables of the Town of Ipswich,


GREETING.


In the name of the COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS, you are here- by required to notify and warn the legal voters of said town to meet at the Town House on Wednesday, the eleventh day of March current, at nine o'clock, A. M. for the following purposes, viz :


ART. 1. To choose a Moderator.


ART. 2. To choose all necessary Town Officers for the ensuing year, and grant such pay for their services as the town think proper


ART. 3. To hear and act on the reports of Committees.


ART. 4. To raise money for the support of the High and Common Schools, and determine the manner of apportioning the same.


ART. 5. To raise money to repair the highways and determine the manner of apportioning the samc.


ART. 6. To raise such sums of money as may be necessary to defray all town charges for the ensuing year.


ART. 7. To see what compensation shall be allowed the Enginemen the ensuing year.


ART. 8. To see what discount, if any, shall be allowed to those persons who pay their taxes before the prescribed time of payment.


ART. 9. To see if the town will authorize the Treasurer to hire money in anticipation of taxcs.


ART. 10. To see if the town authorize the Prudential Committees to con- tract with the teachers in the several school districts the ensuing year.


ART. 11 To grant such sums of money to be raised upon the polls and estates within the town, for the purpose of defraying tbe debts of the town, and for the expenses of the current year, as may be deemed expedient, and make all necessary regulations and allowances respecting the same.


ART. 12. To see what action the town will take in relation to changing the limits of the several school districts in town.


ART. 13. To see if the town will accept the list of jurors, as prepared and posted up by the Selectmen.


ART. 14. To see what action the town will take in regard to building a new High School House, and to raise money for that purpose.


ART. 15. To see if the town will exchange the new gravel pit in south Lane for a gravelly knoll on the land of George Dawson and others.


ART. 16. To see what action the town will take in regard to preventing the taking of clams from the Flats, from the first day of May to the first day of September.


ART. 17. To see if the town will grant any compensation to Alfred P. Clark for the loss of horse.


ART. 18. To see if the town will grant any addition to the pay of Jere- miah Lord, Treasurer. for past services.


ART. 19. To see what action the town will take in relation to building Reservoirs for water in case of fire.


And you are hereby directed to serve this warrant by posting up at- tested copies of the same at each of the meeting-honses, and at the School House in the North District in said town, three days at least before the time of said meeting.


Hereof fail not, and make due return of this warrant to the Town Clerk- at time and place of said mec ting.
