To either of the Constables of the Town of Ipswich :


GREETING.


In the name of the COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS, you are hereby re- quired to notify and warn the qualified voters of said town to meet at the Town Hall, on Wednesday, the 21st of March current, at nine o'olock, A. M., for the fol- lowing purposes, viz :


ART. 1. To choose a Moderator.


ART. 2. To choose all necessary Town Officers for the ensuing year, and grant them such pay for their services as the town may think proper. -


ART. 3. To hear and act on the reports of Committees.


ART. 4. To raise money for the support of Common Schools and the High School, and determine the manner of apportioning the same.


ART. 5. To raise money for the repairs of Highways, and determine the manner of apportioning the same, and expending the same.


ART. 6. To raise such sums of money as may be necessary to defray all town charges for the ensuing year.


ART. 7. To determine what compensation shall be allowed the Enginemen the ensuing year.


ART. S. To see what discount, if any, shall be made to those persons who pay their taxes before the prescribed time of payment.


ART. 9. To see if the town will authorize the Treasurer to hire money in antici- pation of the taxe :.


ART. 10. To see what sums of money the town will raise for the aid of the families of volunteers, as by law authorized.


ART. 11. To vote upon the question of abolishing the school districts in the town, as required by the General Statutes, chap. 39, sec. 4th.


ART. 12. . To grant such sums of money to be raised upon the Polls and Estates within the town, for the purpose of defraying the debts of the town, and for the expenses of the current year, as may be deemed expedient, and make all necessary regulations and allowances respecting the same.


ART. 13. To see if the town will authorize the Prudential Committees in the several school districts to contract with the teachers the year ensuing.


ART. 14: To see what action the town will adopt in relation to changing the limits of the several school districts in the town.


ART. 15. To see if the town will authorize the payment of a certain sam of money to the Town of Topsfield. for schooling a child of Israel Wildes in one of the district schools of said town the past year.
