REMARKS.

The average number of paupers on the farm, during the past year, was fifteen. The balance against the farm, (917.06) and the interest on its value, ($840) making the cost of the support of each pauper a fraction over $2.25 per week.

There have been two unusual expenditures for highways and. bridges, the past year. A gravel pit was purchased of Mr. S. Goodwin, for $125.00, and the repairs on Warner's Bridge cost $376.87.

In the abatements made the past year are included the last of the " Dr. Thomas Manning taxes."
