ESSEX, ss. To either of the Constables of the Town of Ipswich,
GREETING :
IN the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts you are hereby required to notify and warn the legal voters of said Town, to meet at the Town House, on MONDAY, the Eighteenth day of March current, at nine o'clock, A.M., for the following purposes, viz :-
ART. 1ST. To choose a Moderator.
ART. 2D. To choose all necessary Town Officers, and grant them such pay for their services as the Town may think proper.
ART. 3D. To hear and act on the reports of Committees.
ART. 4TH. To raise money for the support of the High and Common Schools.
ART. 5TH. To raise money to repair the Highways, and de- termine the manner of apportioning the same.
ART. 6TH. To see if the Town will accept the Act to pro- vide for the election of Road Commissioners in Chapter 158, Acts of 1871.
ART. "TH. To raise such sums of money as may be neces- sary to defray all Town charges for the ensuing year.
ART. 8TH. To see what compensation shall be allowed the Engine men the ensuing year.
ART. 9TH. To see what discount, if any, shall be allowed to those persons who pay their taxes before the prescribed time of payment.
