WARRANT FOR TOWN MEETING. MARCH 7, 1887.

To Isaac E. Day, one of the Constables of the Town of Westford, in said County.
GREETING :
You are hereby required in the name of the Common- wealth aforesaid, to notify and warn all the inhabitants of said town qualified to vote in elections and also in town affairs, to meet at the Town House in said West- ford, on Monday, the seventh day of March, being the first Monday in said month, at 9 o'clock A. M., (the polls will be opened at 9 o'clock A. M., and closed at 1 o'clock P. M.,) to act upon the following articles, to wit :-
1. To choose a Moderator.
2. To hear the Report of Selectmen, and act in relation to the same.
3. To see if the Town will accept the Report of the Auditor ap- pointed to audit the accounts of the Town Treasurer, or act in relation to the same.
4. To see if the Town will accept the Report of the Overseers of the Poor, or act in relation to the same.
5. To hear Report of School Committee, and act in relation to the same.
. To see if the Town will accept and adopt the Report of the Directors of the Town Library, or act in relation to the same.
7. To see if the Town will accept the Report of the Selectmen on Guide Boards, or act in relation to the same.

8. To bring in their votes for Town Clerk, three Selectmen, three Assessors, three Overseers of the Poor, Town Treasurer, two School Committee for three years, three Fence Viewers, six Constables, three appraisers of Property at the Town Farm, Directors of Town Library, all on one ballot.
9. To raise money to defray Town debts and charges, and direct how the same shall be paid into the Treasury, or act in relation to the same.
10. To raise money for Reading and Writing Schools.
11. To choose a Collector of Taxes.
12. To see if the Town will authorize the Town Treasurer, under the written direction of the Selectmen, to borrow money, from time to time, to meet the demands on the treasury, or act in relation to the same.
13. To see if the Town will accept the list of Jurors, as reported by the Selectmen, or act in relation to the same ..
14. To raise money to repair roads and bridges, and direct by whom and in what manner the same shall be expended.
15. To choose all other Town Officers necessary to be chosen, by hand vote, or act in relation to the same.
16. To see if the Town will vote to License the sale of Ardent Spirits, or act in relation to the same.
17. To hear report of Selectmen in regard to Bear Hill Road, so called, and act in relation to the same.
18. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money sufficient to grade the yard about School House No. 8, or act in relation to the same.
19. To see if the Town will vote to cement the cellar floor of the Graniteville School House, or act in relation to the same.
20. To see if the Town will vote to raise the sum of $130, to do the work asked for in the 19th Article, or act in relation to the same.
21. To see if the Town will vote to hold its Annual Meeting here- after on the third Monday in March, or act in relation to the same.
22. To see if the Town will authorize the Selectmen to appoint some suitable person or persons to enforce the Liquor Law, or act in relation to same.

23. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $100, to pay expense incurred in enforcing the Liquor Law, or act in relation to the same.
24. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $25, to pay the services of a truant officer, or act in relation to the same.
25. To choose one School Committee for one year to fill the unexpired term of the late T. A. Blodgett.
26. To see if the town will vote to discontinue the employment of Counsel by the year, or act in relation to the same.
AND YOU ARE DIRECTED to serve this warrant by posting up true and attested copies at the Town House and each Depot in said Westford, eight days at least before the time of holding said meeting.
HEREOF FAIL NOT, and make return of this warrant with your doings thereon, to the Town Clerk, at the time and place of holding the meeting aforesaid.
