Before it was Lt James Kimball was chosen to Attend at Ipswich Court as a Grand Juror upon the Grand inquest & Ct Fairfield upon the Jury of Trials Tyler Porter T. Clerk.


Voted to give the Committee instructions how to proceed regard the Town Stock.


At a meeting of the Inhabitants of Wenham May 29th 1783 Duely warned & regularly assembled Dea Friend chosen Moderator the following Votes were passed.


Voted to Choose a Committee of three to Examine the Town Stock of amunition & guns Intrenching Tools. Dea Tarbox Pelatiah Brown & Mathew Fairfield were Chosen for Sd purpose.


Voted that four Shillings per load be the price for all the rocks halled for the pound that are laid above Ground


Voted that the Committee be instructed to Sell the Intrench- ing Tools Powder & fire arms that belong to the Town & make report to the Town of their doings the next meeting thus the Warrant may extend.


Voted To Take in three Rods of the Training field next to Senters Garden running to a corner next to Herricks as the fence now stands. and and that the rocks left in Building the pound be used to fence it


Then the Moderator Dissolved the Meeting and it was Di- solved accordingly

For Electing a Representative and Other business as by Warrant on file may fully appear, the Question was put wheather the Town would make choice of a Representative and it was Pased in the Negative


Voted Deac Caleb Kimball moderator for this Meeting


Voted to raise the Sum of £70 for repairing the highways the Currant year and that the Wages Stand as Last year and that all Deficent persons that Do not work out their tax Shall be added to the next town Tax.


Voted to accept the List of Jurors then Exhibited to them. A School voted the Currant year


Voted A grammar School the present year and to Divide the money equally in the three parts of the Town and that Lt Baker Ct Pelatiah Brown Ct John Dodge be a Committe to Procure a master and Wood and to regulate the School with regard to the time as they think propper

At a meeting of the Selectmen of Wenham June 22 1786. then agreed with Ct Thomas Kimball to keep Anna Killam one of the Poor of this Town, one year from this date for the Sum of three Shillings and Eleven pence pr week on the Cond- following (vis) Sd Kimball is to find sd Anna meet drink washing & Lodging and to return her cloths and goods as good as when he rec'd them, the Doctr and nursing to be paid by the town in case of Sickness
