In order to Chouse A representative to attend the General Court on the Last Wednesday of may Instant & did then Elect Maj Billy Porter for the above said Purpose & he de- clined serving then the town made Further trial & voted not to send any person.


After which Maj Porter Consented to sarve & his acceptance was declared

At a Meeting of the Freeholders and other Qualified voters of the Town of Wenham on the thirtieth day of November 1792. held by an adjournment Tyler Porter Esq Moderator the Following Votes were Past (viz).


First Voted that the Revend Mr adoniram Judson be In- vited to be The Minister of this Town in Concurance with the Churches Late Choice


2ly Voted that the Sum of Sixty pounds Lawful money be offered the Reverand Mr. adoniram Judson for a Settlement to Geather with the use of the Towns Parsonage and a free Contribution

4ly. Voted to Choose a Committee Consisting of five men to lay your Preposals before the Revª adoniram Judson


5ly. Voted that Capt John Dodge Maj. Billy Porter Capt Richard Dodge Richard Hood John Dodge Ju" be a Com- mittee for the above Purpose.


6ly Voted that the Meeting be adjourned to Friday the four- tenth Day of December Next at Two oclock after noon at the usual Place of holding Town Meetings.
