Their fence being insufficient betwix said Fairfield & heirs and first we have set of and Layd out to the said heirs be- gining at a stake & stones By the highway Extending North- easterly by Sd Third twenty seven Pools to a apple tree stump from thence Easterly eleven Pool & two tenths of a pool to a stake & stones in the meddow by Sd thirds and buts upon Timothy Leach one of Sd heirs. the northeasterly half We have set of to the said heirs and the Esterly half we have set to the said Fairfield.

Wenham may 12th 1796 upon complaining made to us the subscribers by Thos Kimball Jr of said Wenham against Amos Putnam Esq and mary his wife both of Danvers he refusing to Divide or fence upon the line against said Kimballs land known by the name of the old rye field and the said mary Thirds having notified the Parties we having met upon said line the Parties being present we have Divided the line as followeth. viz we order that the sd Kimball shall begin at the highway and make and keep in repair a good and law- ful fence fourteen & a half Poll. we order that the said mary shall begin were the said Kimball leaveth of and make and keep in repair a good lawful fence running to the north- erly corner of the old rye field fourteen and a half Poll. 31y Voted 15ª dollers for the servises of the Selectmen.


41y Voted that the Constables Pay into the Treasurer one half of the Town tax within Three months from the Date of their Lists and the other half by the first of march following or Forfit their Collection.


51y Voted 633ª: 33cents to defray the rising Charges of the Town the Insuing year out of that sum one hundred dollers to support schools in the several Districts to be equally Divided.


61y Voted 10ª for the use of a school at the Extreme Part of the East ward.


71y Voted 100ª to repair the steeple of our meeting House.


81y Voted to Choose a committee Consisting of three Men to repair Said Steeple.


91y Voted that Capt Pelatiah Brown Richard Hood and Isaac Porter be a Committee For the above Purpos then mr mod- erator Declared the meeting Desolved.
