Wenham Febuary 1797. upon Complaint made to us by Thos Kimball Jur. of said wenham a gainst Amos Putnam Esq and mary his wife of Danvers they refusing to Divide fence on the petition line between the said Kimball land and the Said mary third we have viewed Said line of pertition on Leaches Swamp so Called and upland adjoining we have Notified the parties and have accordingly meet and Divided said line as followeth (viz) beginning at the Northly Corner of the old rye field so Colled we have layd out and asigned to the said Amos & Putnam and mary his wife teen polls of Stone wall running Southerly to the Stake in the wall to repair and keep in repair from thence Northerly twenty five poll and a half to the stake in the Swamp the Sd Kim- ball to begin at the above Stake Last named and run to the Ditch twenty Five & a half Poll the above shall be their share of fence to make and keep in repair

Begining at the Cor- ner of Sam11 Batchelders fence we have Sett off and Laid out thirty two Poll to the said webber to a large Rock in the wall we have set off and laid out unto the said Kimball from said Rock in the wall to the swamp thirty two Poll we have Set of and laid out to the said webber from thence a Croas Himlock Island Eightyfour. Polls to a stake from thence we have Set off and Layd out unto said Kimball Eighty Four Poll to Said Batchelder Corner so Colled we order that the Sd Kimball and Webber shall arrect andmaintain a Good and Lawful fence between them on the Partition Line

We the subscribers being Lawfully authorized to Perambu- late on the Line between the Town of wenham and Danvers having this 28 of march 1798 Meet for that service and Proceeded as followeth viz Beginning at a White oak Tree marked D .: W:B standing in the wall between Land of Ebenezer Porter and Lt Corn- Baker thence westerly to a stake & stones at or near the head of Leaches meddow to a willow tree marked W: D at the easterly end of the Division- al wall Formally between Porter and Androws Land thence to a Stake and Stones standing on the westerly side of the East End of Wenham Causway which is the Bounds Be- tween Wenham and Porters Farm thence to a stake and stones standing at the westerly end of Wenham Causway about Six Polls to the Westward that being A Corner bound between Wenham Danvers & Topsfield.

Att a Meeting of the inhabitants of Wenham held by an adjournment on this day the 20th of Feby instant 1800 at 2 o clock in the afternoon after Fast in order to see if the Town would give Mr Moses Dow a call to settle with said Town as their Minister.
