BRIDGEWATER, PA. (H) A request for Friends at Bridgewater in the State of Pennsylvania for a meeting, came to Dusnesburg M.M. 11. 23. 1810, A committee appointed to visit them reported 12. 27. 1811, that it had done so, but the ::.... decided the right time had not come, and returned their request to the Friends et Bridgewater, 12. 24, 1814, several of the members of this M.M. residing in the Town of Silver Lake, Susquehanna Co., Fa., requested to be set off to Butternuts M.M. This must not be confused with Bridgewater, P.Mo, leter es- tablished by Butternuts M.M.


CARLISLE FRIENDS. (H) A request from Friends ot Carlisle for a meeting was granted in 1816, and continued under care of a committee until 1819. Cn Ilth Mic. 30, 1822, a request for a meeting at Henry Whitney's, which was allowed for one month. This was apparently the same locality, but no further mention of it noticed. Carlisle is in Schoharie Co., N. Y. No.meeting appears to have been es- tablished in thet County. (See under Charleston P.M.)

GALWAY MONTHLY MEETING. (H) Established 6th Mo. 24, 1802, being set off from Saratoga M.M. It comprised at first the P.M.s. of Gulway, Providence, Green- field and North Greenfield and was a part of Easton Q.M. until Saratoga Q.I. was established 11th No. 22, 1815. The line between Saratoga and Galway N.Ks. was fixed 2d Mo. 10. 1807 to be


"from west side of Saratoga lake to the Kayadrosserus (?) Creek, und up said Creek to Dunning Street and running a little west of where James Jeeks now lives ."


Milton M.M. was.set off from this in 7th Mo. 1818 with the P.Ms. of Milton and Greenfield, and was reunited with this 4th V.o. 1847, to be held alter- nately at Galway, Greenfield and Milton. Laid down 11th No. 22, 1866 with all its branches, and the few remaining members attached to Saratoga M.K.
