"GENESEE YEARLY NESTING." (h) The Quarterly Meetings of Farmington, Scipio, and Canada for several years desired a new Yearly lecting for their territory, and in 1827 united in requesting that "Gonesse Yearly Meeting" be established, and suggesting the date and place of opening it. It is probable that the Year- ly lecting committee would have reported favorably in 1828, but for the Separ- ution which then took place, leaving each side too weak for further sub-division. The proposition originated in Scipio L .!.. in 1825. In 1843 those sume Col 's (0), with Leray Q.l., proposed a Yearly Lecting to be called "Ontario Y.k." It was referred, and in 1844 decided against by N.Y. Y.I. (0) .
