BRADLEY'S REGISTER Was commenced in 1847, and in 1849 it was combined with GREEN's. The Register for 1847 contains, Annals of Connecticut ; Tlie Patent of 1631; The Charter of 1662; List of State Officers from 1639 to 1846 ; and Historical Notices of Probate Courts, and of each Town, &c. That for 1848 contains, The Constitution of 1639 ; List of Assistants, with their residence, from 1639 to 1819; Democratic Powers of Towns, &c. That for 1849 contains, The Organization of the Superior Court in 1711, and List of Judges from 1711 to 1849, &c. That for 1850 contains, the Votes for Governor from 1819 to 1849; List of Senators from 1830 to 1849, with votes of opposing Can- didates, &c. That for 1851 contains, Population of the Towns of the State at different Periods, &c. That for 1853 contains, A list of Members of Congress from 1765 to 1853, &c. The present Register contains a list of State Senators from 1819 to 1830; official Census returns; Valuation of Property ; Catalogues of School Teachers ; Mail Routes, &c.


We shall send Registers to those who liave made returns, as far as ordered. And such others as do not receive them, will be supplied by applying to F. A. Brown, Hartford. Blanks for future numbers of the Register, will be sent to such as have promptly made returns the present year. .


The Public are as much interested as the Publisher in having the Register accurate and complete. For this purpose, we desire that any errors which may be continued, may be noted. Com- missioners of Deeds, &c., for other States, will be hereafter insert- ed, so far as information is given ; and any person who wishes any names or matter of public interest inserted, which may be liable to be overlooked in printed returns, may so inform us. Annual public documents or reports will be of service, if sent to us. F. A. BROWN, Hartford, or WM. S. PORTER, New Haven.
