Putnam, Constable of the Town of Warren, in the Country of Worcester, Greeting: In the Name of the Commonwealth of Massachu- setts, you are directed to notify the Suhabitants of the Town of Warren, qualified to vote in elections and in town affairs, to meet at the Town Hall, in said Wars on Monday the first day of april at nine o'clock in the forenoon, then and there to bring in their votes for Crown blesk, Treasurer, Three Selectmen Three assessors. Three Overseers of the Poor, Three auditors, Five Constable and Collector of Taxes for one year, Three Board of Heater one for three years, one for two years and one for one year, Cemetery Commissioner for three years, Three School Committee for three years, and one School Committee for two years, and to determine by Yes or No." in answer to the question, Shall licenses be granted for the sale of intoxicating liquors in this town for the ensuing year " all on one ballot.

M: The warrant was then read, clerk appointed Frank L Larwood and & N. F. Quinlan Tellers, they were dub; sworn to the faithful discharge of their duties, to act during the election of moderator.

That for the purpose of procuring a temporary loan to, and for the use of the Town of Harken, in anticipation of the taxes of the present municipal year, the town Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to borrow, from time to time, with the approval of the board of Selectinen, a Sur or sums in the aggregate not to exceed Forty Thousand Dollars, and to execute and deliver the note or notes of the town therefor, payable within one year from the time the loan is made, with interest thereon at a rate not exceeding six per cent per annum. Any debt or debts incurred by a loan or loans to the town under this vote shall be paid from the taxes of the present municipal year ."
