Copy. Rules and Regulations of Pine Grove Cemetery. Warren, Mass. 1897. The Cemetery Commissioners having in view the beauty of the bondlery, and the best interests of its patrons have deemed it necessary that Rules and Regulations should be adopted, and to that end have presented the following:
Sic 1. Those desiring to purchase lots are respectfully requested to visit the cemetery in all cases where it is possible, and select their lot low the grounds, where all necessary infor- mation will be given in relation thereto.
2. Lots are conveyed by special deed, securing to the pur- chaser, their family and heirs, a burial place forEver. By permission in writing grow a majority of the loom- missioners, Ino Lots way be consolidated by closing the cross walk.

Lot movers are expressly prohibited from selling or tran- Gering their lote to other parties, without first obtaining the consent of the majority of the commissioners in ma ing, and such application must be accompanied by evidence showing good and sufficient cause for

The grades of all walks and lots shall be to the approval of the commissioners; no det er bots shall be defined by any so called hedge, cut, ditch, embankment, or terrace, but be graded de conform to the natural surroundings of the location. The commissioners shall have the right to change the grade of any lot or Lots to conform to the quetal surroundings.
5. Proprietors of lots shall have the right to plant and cut tirate shrubs and plants upon their Role, but if any free or shrub situated in any lot, shall by means of their Loota, branches, or othermie be comes detrimental, un Lightly or inconvenient to the adjacent lote or avenues the commission reserves the right to enter upout said lot and remove the said tree or shrub or such parts thereof as they may diew necessary. And if any lot or any structure thereon shall by the neglect of the proprietor thereof beerme unsightly, the commission shall have the right to fut the same in proper order and repair, and collect re asonable charge for the same.
6. All workmen employed in the construction of vaults, erection of monuments, or work of any kind must be subject to the control and direction of the commis sioners; and any workman failing to conform to this rule will not be permitted to work in the grounds all rubbish of whatever nature, or stone or carth collected on or from private lots, must be removed to such phos of deposit we are provided for the fun poses at the espouse of the proprietor of such lot.
7. Heavy Laden trains will not be allowed to enter the grounds whew in the opinion of the commissioners the roads are in danger of being injured.

9. No horse may be left by the driver un hitched on the grounds; Persons will not be permitted to hitch their horses to any tree or shrub within the cemetery. Driving or terminy on the walks or lots or rapid driving will not be allowed.
10. The carrying or discharging of firearms within the grounds will not be allowed except at military fun- erals. to coge allowed to run at large within the grounds. /1. All persons are strictly prohibited from picking any plant or flower whether wild or cultivated, breaking or injuring any true or shrub, marring any monument or land mark, or in any way defacing the grounds, or to sit or walk upon , or otherwise occupy any private lot not their own.
12. No person will be permitted to use boisterous or profane language, or in any way disturb the quiet and good order of the cemetery.
All persons are reminded that the grounds are sac- redly devoted to the burial of the dead, and that the provisions and penalties of the Law as provided by the statutes, will be strictly enforced in all cases of Wanton injury, disturbance and disregard of the rules.
13. All will disposed persone will confer a favor by infor ing the commissioners of any breach of the rules, or improprieties that may come to their notice.
