The meeting was called to order at 9- 7 a. M. and warrant read by the Town Clerk, who then invited voters to bring in their ballots for moderator. Jisse I. Leonard, and Icharles H. Sherry were appointed, by the Town Clerk, as Tellers to check the list, and Swoim by same, to the Faithful discharge of theirduties

at 1-35 P. M. the interior of the same was exposed to the view of the audience and found to be empty, immediately after which ballots were deposited there.


( 1. 45 ? in. presiding oficer announced that the new ballot box in use would not work at all, and that is should remove the fallole from the box originally used and deposit them in the second box used together with those cast there by voters, which was done in the presence of the Election officers , and in full view of the audience, tis vor were then locked and placed upon the platform before the audience. at 1- 46 P. M. voters again began depositing their votes in the ballot box originally used, which then registered 567 votes.
