REPORT OF THE SELECTMEN

The report of the Selectmen for the year ending Dec. 31, 1932 is herewith submitted :

We are pleased to report the town has reduced its funded debt during the year $9400.00 and at the same time by a sharp reduction in appropriations are experiencing one of the lowest tax rates for a number of years.

We hope by further reductions in the appropriations this year, the tax rate may be kept near the same figure. In November the Board lost by death one of its members, George H. Miles, who was serving his fourth year as clerk of the board. Mr. Miles was a native of the town and had held various town offices for a number of year :s, all of which he held with credit to himself and honor to the town. His passing is a distinct loss to the community.

The analysis of expenditures will be found on the pages immediately following.
