In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts you are hereby required to notify and warn the inhabitants of Weymouth aforesaid quali- fied to vote in Town Affairs to meet in the hall of the Weymouth High School on
MONDAY, THE NINTH DAY OF JUNE, 1958
at seven o'clock and forty-five minutes in the evening, then and there to act upon the following articles, namely:
ARTICLE 1. (At Request of School Committee and By Direction of Selectmen). To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise by taxation, or otherwise, and appropriate, for the purpose of acquiring by

gift, purchase, or to take by right of eminent domain, for school purposes, Lot 20, Block 245, containing 5,523 square feet (cemetery on Cowing prop- erty on Commercial Street) as shown on Sheet 18 of the Atlas of the Town of Weymouth dated January 1, 1956, as authorized by Chapter 182 of the 1958 Acts and Resolves authorizing the Town of Weymouth to ac- quire certain cemetery property for school purposes, or take any other action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 2. (At Request of School Committee and By Direction of Selectmen). To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise by taxation, or otherwise, and appropriate, for the purpose of removing all remains interred at said private cemetery, marking the new graves insofar as now marked, or take any other action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 3. (At Request of School Committee and By Direction of Selectmen). To see what sum of Money the Town will vote to raise by taxation, or otherwise, and appropriate, for the purpose of acquiring by gift, purchase, or to take by right of eminent domain, in fee, Lot 10 and part of Lot 11, Block 243, containing about 1,700 square feet as shown on Sheet 18 of the Atlas of the Town of Weymouth dated January 1st, 1956, for school purposes, more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Parcel "A" shown on above mentioned plans and more specifically shown on a plan entitled "Plan of Land in Weymouth" plan nuumber 453-B, dated April 25, 1958 made by Frank S. Lagrotteria, Town Engineer, bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the Northerly sideline of Anthony Road and running along a line bearing S 26° 58'40"E for a distance of one hundred seventy and 43/100 feet (170.43"); thence turning and running along a line bearing S 53° 01'20"W for a distance of one and 00/100 feet (1.00"); thence turning and running along a line bearing N 26° 58'40"W for a distance of one hundred seventy and 43/100 feet (170.43); thence turning and running along a line bearing N 53° 01'20"E for a distance of one and 00/00 feet (1.00) to point of beginning containing 170.4 square feet, or take any other action in relation thereto.
Parcel "B" shown on above mentioned plan bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at a point being a concrete bound on the Northerly side- line of Chard Street and running along a line bearing N 22° 46'00"W for a distance of twenty-three and 28/100 feet (23.28"); thence turning and running along a line bearing N 70° 42'26"E for a distance of one hundred fifteen and 10/100 feet (115.10") to a stone bound; thence turning and running along a line bearing S 59" 09'15"W for a distance of one hundred sixteen and 05/100 feet (116.05") to a point of beginning containing 1,321 square feet; or take any other action in relation thereto.
Article 4. (At Request of High School Building Committee and by Direction of Selectmen). To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise by taxation, or otherwise, and appropriate, for the purpose of preparing complete drawings and detailed specifications in order that bids may be secured for the construction of a new High School to be built on the land to be acquired by gift, purchase or by right of eminent do- main under Article 3 of the Special Town Meeting held on November 18, 1957 and under Articles 1 and 3 of this Special Town Meeting on June 9, 1958, said sum to be expended under the direction of the High School Building Committee authorized under Article 5 of the Special Town Meet- ing of November 18, 1957, or take any other action in relation thereto.

ARTICLE 5. (By the Board of Public Works and By Direction of Selectmen). To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate by taxation or otherwise for the purchase of new equipment for the Public Works Department or take any other action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 6. (By the Board of Public Works and By Direction of Selectmen). To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate by taxation or otherwise for the installation of particular sewers or take any other action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 7. (By the Board of Public Works and By Direction of Selectmen). To see what sum of money the town will vote to raise and appropriate by taxation or otherwise for the installation of Drainage or take any other action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 8. (By the Board of Public Works and By Direction of Selectmen). To see if the Town will vote to transfer the sum of $300.00 from the Engineering Division to the Public Works Department for out of state travel or take any other action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 9. (By Direction of Selectmen). To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate by taxation or otherwise, a sum of $7500.00 for the installation of 36" R. C. drainage line under the New York, New Haven and Hartford tracks at the northerly end of the Braintree-Wey- mouth Parking area as shown on proposed plan and profile showing pro- posed drain at New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad in Wey- mouth, dated May 18, 1956; all work to be done by private contract, under the direction of the Boards of Selectmen and Town Engineers of Wey- mouth and Braintree; and that the Board of Selectmen be authorized to secure or accept any easements for the above purpose; the money to be made available only if the Town of Braintree make available a like amount or take any other action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 10. (By Direction of Selectmen). To see if the Town will vote to increase the members of the Park Commissioners from three members to five members in accordance with Chapter 41, Section 2 of the General Laws and to be effective at the 1959 Annual Town Election or take any other action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 11. (On Petition and By Direction of Selectmen). To see what action the Town will take to rezone that portion of Broad Street between Lincoln Square and Vine Street from Residential to Business.
ARTICLE 12. (By Direction of Selectmen). To see what action the Town will take to transfer the control of the land as shown on plan made by Arthur J. Bilodeau, Town Engineer, commonly known as Town Hall Parking Area, from the School Department to the Board of Selectmen, or take any other action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 13. (By Direction of Selectmen). To see if the Town will vote to amend its By-Laws by adopting and adding to Article 6 entitled "Police Regulations" the following By-Law to be designated as Section 608A. "The Board of Selectmen shall prepare rules and regulations gov- erning the use of the Town Hall Parking Area so called as described in Article 12, and may alter, rescind, and/or add to such rules and regula- tions from time to time as the Board of Selectmen deem necessary," or take any other action in relation thereto.

TOWN OF WEYMOUTH SPECIAL TOWN MEETING MONDAY, JUNE 9, 1958
Pursuant to a Warrant duly issued, the Special Town Meeting of the inhabitants of the Town of Weymouth, represented by their duly elected and qualified Town Meeting Members, was held in the auditorium of the Weymouth High School on Monday, June 9, 1958.
The Meeting was called to order at 7:45 o'clock in the evening by the Annual Moderator, Mr. Daniel L. O'Donnell.
The Town Clerk, Mr. Harry Christensen, read the call of the Meeting.
There were 166 Town Meeting Members present.
Upon motion duly made, it was
UNANIMOUSLY VOTED: That the reading of the Articles in the Warrant be suspended.
Prayer for Divine Guidance at this special Town Meeting was offered by the Reverend Father John P. Lyons, Assistant Pastor of the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in East Weymouth.
Town Meeting Members not previously sworn were administered the oath by the Moderator.
The Moderator appointed the following Tellers who were sworn in as follows:

To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise by taxation, or otherwise, and appropriate, for the purpose of acquiring by gift, purchase, or to take by right of eminent domain, for school purposes, Lot 20, Block 245, containing 5,523 square feet (cemetery on Cowing prop- erty on Commercial Street) as shown on Sheet 18 of the Atlas of the Town of Weymouth dated January 1, 1956, as authorized by Chapter 182 of the 1958 Acts and Resolves authorizing the Town of Weymouth to acquire certain cemetery property for school purposes, or take any other action in relation thereto.
Upon motion duly made by the Appropriation Committee, it was
UNANIMOUSLY VOTED: That the Town vote to authorize the Board of Selectmen to acquire by gift, purchase or take by right of Emi- nent Domain in fee, together with all rights of way, for school purposes a parcel of land in Weymouth, Mass., shown as Lot 20, Block 245, con- taining 5,523 square feet (cemetery on Cowing property on Commercial Street) as shown on Sheet 18 of the Atlas of the Town of Weymouth, dated January 1, 1956, and further bounded and described as follows:

Parcel "C" shown on a plan entitled "Plan of land in Weymouth" plan No. 454-B dated April 28, 1958 made by Frank S. Lagrotteria, Town Engineer, filed with the Town Clerk, and
That the Town reappropriate the sum of $1.00 from the funds previously appropriated under Article 3 of the Special Town Meeting of November 18, 1957, for this purpose. $1.00
ARTICLE 2. (At Request of School Committee and By Direction of Selectmen). To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise by taxation, or otherwise, and appropriate, for the purpose of removing all remains interred at said private cemetery, marking the new graves insofar as now marked, or take any other action in relation thereto.
Upon motion duly made by the Appropriation Committee, it was
UNANIMOUSLY VOTED: That the Town vote to appropriate the sum of $350.00 from the Excess and Deficiency Account for the purpose of removing all remains interred in said private cemetery, marking the new graves in so far as they are now marked and that said sum is to be expended under the direction of the School Committee. $350.00
ARTICLE 3. (At Request of School Committee and By Direction of Sélectmen). To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise by taxation, or otherwise, and appropriate, for the purpose of acquiring by gift, purchase, or to take by right of eminent domain, in fee, Lot 10 and part of Lot 11, Block 243, containing about 1,700 square feet as shown on Sheet 18 of the Atlas of the Town of Weymouth dated January 1st, 1956, for school purposes, more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Parcel "A" shown on above mentioned plans and more specifically shown on a plan entitled "Plan of Land in Weymouth" plan number 453-B, dated April 25, 1958 made by Frank S. Lagrotteria, Town Engineer, bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the Northerly sideline of Anthony Road and running along a line bearing S 26° 58'40"E for a distance of one hundred seventy and 43/100 feet (170.43"); thence turning and running along a line bearing S 53° 01'20"W for a distance of one and 00/100 feet (1.00"); thence turning and running along a line bearing N 26° 58'40"W for a dis- tance of one hundred seventy and 43/100 feet (170.43"); thence turning and running along a line bearing N 53° 01'20"E for a distance of one and 00/100 feet (1.00') to point of beginning; containing 170.4 square feet, or take any other action in relation thereto.
Parcel "B" shown on above mentioned plans bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at a point being a concrete bound on the Northerly side- line of Chard Street and running along a line bearing N 22° 46'00"W for a distance of twenty-three and 28/100 feet (23.28'); thence turning and running along a line bearing N 70° 42'26"E for a distance of one hundred fifteen and 10/100 feet (115.10') to a stone bound; thence turning and running along a line bearing S 59° 09'15"W for a distance of one hundred sixteen and 05/100 feet (116.05') to a point of beginning; containing 1,321 square feet; or take any other action in relation thereto.
