REPORT OF THE TOWN CLERK

January 27, 1959

Honorable Board of Selectmen

Weymouth, Massachusetts

Attention: Joseph Crehan, Chairman

Gentlemen:

Submitted herewith is the Annual Report of the Town Clerk for the year ending December 31, 1958.

The refund from the Norfolk County Treasurer for dog licenses amounted to $4,370.12 and will again be used for schools.

A number of new duties were added to the work of the office during the past year because of changes and amendments to the General Laws.

As the Town increases in population, there is an ever-increasing amount of work and detail to be carried out by this office. This work has been facilitated in some measure through the co-operation of the various Town departments.

I should like to extend my thanks to your Board and all departments for the courtesies and co-operation given to me during the year.

Respectfully submitted,

HARRY CHRISTENSEN Town Clerk
