ANNUAL REPORT OF THE TOWN CLERK

January 14, 1963

Honorable Board of Selectmen Weymouth, Massachusetts

Attention: Mr. Franklin Fryer, Chairman

Gentlemen:

Submitted herewith is the Annual Report of the Town Clerk for the year ending December 31, 1962.

The refund from the Norfolk County Treasurer for dog licenses amounted to $4,083.69, which again will be used for schools. There has been an increase in the revenue from fees and licenses of about $971.95

With a look to the future, for safety and preservation, a committee has been appointed to make a study for the purpose of microfilming vital statistics and other records.

Duties and responsibilities have been carried out smoothly and efficiently by the staff in the office.

I should like to extend my thanks to your Board and all depart- ments for the courtesies and co-operation given to me during the year.

Respectfully submitted,

HARRY CHRISTENSEN, Town Clerk
