4. The Licensing Authority shall regulate the maximum num- ber of motor vehicles that may be kept, stored, placed or maintained on the licensed premises.

ARTICLE 96. (By Direction of Board of Selectmen). To see if the town will vote to adopt the folloing By-Law regulating the premises of holders of Class II used car dealer's licenses or take any other action in relation thereto:


Proposed By-Law :


1. All applicants for a Closs II used car dealer's license shall submit to the Licensing Authority a plot plan of the premises to be licensed, in triplicate, said plan to show dimensions of the premises to be licensed, location of existing structure or structures, names of abut- ting owners of land according to latest records of the Assessors of the Town of Weymouth, and location of area where motor vehicles are to be displayed, kept or stored.


2. All applicants for license must have adequate facilities to re- pair, maintain and service motor vehicles.


3. All areas on the licensed premises that are to be used for dis- play of motor vehicles offered for sale shall be paved or have a macadam surface.


4. The Licensing Authority shall regulate the maximum num- ber of motor vehicles that may be kept, stored, placed or maintained on the licensed premises. :


5. Violation of any of the foregoing provisions shall be cause for suspension or revocation by the Licensing Authority of the license granted.

ARTICLE 1. To see what sums of money the Town will vote to raise or borrow and appropriate for the salaries, operation and ex- penses during the current fiscal year of each of the following Town Departments and activities, necessary charges, and for unpaid bills of prior years and to determine in each case how and under whose direc- tion the money shall be expended; to impose any conditions and re- strictions thereon which the Town may see fit; to determine how much money so appropriated shall be available for expenditures under Gen- eral Laws (Ter. Ed.). Chapter 40. Section 5, Clause 34; to determine what, if any, sums so appropriated shall remain available after De- cember 31, 1962; to fix the terms and rate of interest of any such bonds or notes; to fix such salaries as required to be fixed by the Town Meeting; and to impose such conditions upon the drawing of compensation from the Town as the Town may see fit; or take any other action in relation to any of the foregoing subjects.

Step rate increases to be effective from April 1, 1962 for employees hired prior to November 1, 1961. Em- ployees hired after November 1, 1961 shall not be entitled to a Step Rate increase before April 1, 1963.

Provided further, that any portion of this total appropriation for Public Welfare, not including administration under this item may be made available for any welfare item on and after October 1, 1962.


For Old Age Assistance the sum of $160,000.00 and for Medical Aid to the aged the sum of $190,000.00.


From the Administration appropriation, the Town Accountant shall transfer to the Town's General Fund an amount equal to what- ever monies are made available by the State or Federal Government for any administrative expense for the fiscal year under this item.
