MOVED: That the sum of $511. 700. 00 raised and appropriated for the construction of Common Sewers to be expended under the direction of the Board of Public Works, and of this sum, $31, 700. 00 shall be raised by tax levy and the Treasurer, with the approval of the Board of Selectmen, is here- by authorized to borrow a sum not to exceed $480, 000. 00 for new construction and to issue bonds and notes to be payable in accordance with the General Laws (Ter. Ed. ) Chapter 44, so that the entire sum shall be payable in not more than thirty (30) years from their dates.

UNANIMOUSLY VOTED: That the Town raise and appropriate from tax levy, the sum of $1, 000. 00 for the Dutch Elm Disease Control, under the requirements of Chapter 132 of the General Laws, as amended by Chapter 657 of the Acts of 1956, which sum is to be expended under the Board of Public Works.
ARTICLE 14. (Request of the Board of Public Works). To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate by taxation, trans- fer from available funds and/or borrowing, for drainage improvements in the High Street area in accordance with recommendations of Metcalf and Eddy, Engineers, in report to Weymouth Drainage Committee dated March 11, 1957, or take any other action in relation thereto.

ARTICLE 15. (Request of the Board of Public Works). To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate by taxation, trans- fer from available funds and/or borrowing for drainage purposes (for stream improvement) from Waymouth Back River to Whitman's Pond consisting of flood-flow-conduit and channel and works at dams, as recommended by Metcalf and Eddy, Engineers, in report to Weymouth Drainage Committee dated March 11, 1957.
That the sum of money hereby appropriated shall be made available only if the State, under General Laws, Chapter 91, will pay a sum of money pro- portionate to the cost of construction under the provisions of said Chapter provided further, that such work shall be done by private contract under the direction of the Board of Public Works and/or the State Department of Public Works.

To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate by taxation, transfer from avail- able funds and/or borrowing, for the purpose of constructing a foot bridge between Lakeshore Drive and Lakeview Road, said foot bridge to be con- structed on the present site of the old one that was destroyed by fire, or take any other action in relation thereto.

ARTICLE 24. (Request of the Board of Public Works). To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate by taxation, transfer from available funds and/or borrowing, a sum of money for the reconstruction of Middle Street under provisions of Chapter 718 of the Acts of 1956, as amended by Chapter 782, Acts of 1962, or take any other action in relation thereto.

That the sum of $72, 465. 02 be raised and appropriated for the per- manent reconstruction of Middle Street to the Board of Public Works; and to meet said appropriation, the sum of $72, 465. 02 shall be transferred from the proceeds received or to be received from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts under the provisions of Chapter 718 of the Acts of 1956, as amended by Chapter 782 of the Acts of 1962; said permanent construction to include sidewalks and curbing and said work to be done by private con- tract, under the direction of the Department of Public Works.

Ed. ) Chapter 40, Section 5, Clause 41, or take any other action in relation thereto.

ARTICLE 26. (Direction of Selectmen). To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate by taxation, transfer from available funds and/or borrowing, the sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500. 00) for the purpose of maintaining during the ensuing year, the mosquito control works as es- timated and certified to by the State Reclamation Board in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 112, Acts of 1931, or take any other action in relation thereto.

ARTICLE 27. (Direction of Selectmen). To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate by taxation, transfer from available funds and/or borrowing, the sum of Eight Thousand Dollars ($8, 000. 00) for the Town's share in the South Shore Mosquito Control District, or take any other action in relation thereto.

ARTICLE 28. (Direction of Selectmen). To see if the Town will vote to amend Article X, Section VII, Item 3a of the By-Laws, by striking out said Item 3a, and inserting in place thereof the following: "Any application for a hearing before the Board of Zoning Appeals under this by-law shall be accompanied by a filing fee of Twenty-Five Dollars ($25. 00) to be paid by the applicant, " or take any other action in relation thereto.
Mr. Heffernan then reported for the Planning Board, as required by Chapter 40-A of the General Laws, as being favorable to the adoption of the Article.

UNANIMOUSLY VOTED: That the Town vote to amend Article X, Section 7, Item 3(a) of the By-Laws, by striking out said item 3(a), and inserting in place thereof the following: "Any application for a hearing before the Board of Zoning Appeals under this By-Law shall be accom- panied by a filing fee of Twenty-five Dollars, to be paid by the applicant. "
ARTICLE 29. (Direction of Selectmen). To see if the Town will vote to amend Article X, Section VII, Item 3, Paragraph 2 of the By-Laws, by striking out said paragraph 2, and inserting the following in place thereof: "Members of the Board shall receive Thirty-Five Dollars ($35. 00) for each meeting they attend; and a clerk, appointed by the Board, who may be a town employee, and the Building Inspector or his nominee in the Building Inspection Department, shall receive Fifteen Dollars ($15.00) for each meeting of the Board attended, all payable from the appropriation for the Building Department, " or take any action in relation thereto.
Mr. Heffernan then reported for the Planning Board, as required by Chapter 40-A of the General Laws, as being unfavorable to the adoption of the Article.

That the Town vote to amend Article X, Section 7, Item 3, Paragraph 2, of the By-Laws, by striking out said paragraph 2, and inserting the following in place thereof: "Members of the Board shall receive Thirty-five Dollars for each meeting they attend, and a Clerk appointed by the Board, who may be a Town employee, and the Building Inspector, or his nominee, in the Building Inspection Department, shall receive $15. 00 for each meeting of the Board they attend; all to be paid from the appropriation of the Building Department.

" (at the end of Parker and Massasoit Roads) dated November 18, 1954, made by Russell H. Whiting, Registered Land Surveyor, on file in the Town Clerk's office shall, from and after the effective date of these regulations, be

limited to inhabitants of the Town of Weymouth and no other persons shall use the same as a parking area or space for vehicles or trespass upon the same for any purpose whatsoever.
