19. To see if the Town will vote to raise a sum of money for the transportation of scholars to and from the public schools, or act in relation to the same.

LEGACY TO PUBLIC LIBRARY.
In kind remembrance of his native town, the late Stephen S. Stone of Revere, Mass., made the following liberal bequest to the Public Library, and the same has been received by the Selectmen, and deposited in the Bank, awaiting a favorable opportunity for in- vestment.

" I give and bequeath to the Trustees of the Public Library of the Town of Westford, Mass., or in default of said Trustees, then to the Selectmen of the said Town, One Thousand Dollars, in trust, to apply the income thereof forever to the purchase of new books for said Library, and to be called the ' Stone Fund.' "
