ENDICOTT PEABODY GOVERNOR
THE COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENT STATE HOUSE, BOSTON
May 17, 1963
Dear Friends,
It is a great privilege to congratulate the citizens of Wilbraham on the occasion of your town's 200th Anniversary.
Since its incorporation in 1763, Wilbraham has been a town with many facets. Though generally a residential community, Wilbraham has a firm economic base in manufacturing and commerce. Wilbraham is noted for its sound financial position and lower than average tax rate as well as its excellent transportation facilities.
Wilbraham's citizens have well lived up to the exhortations of Rufus Stebbins when in delivering Wilbraham's first centennial message in 1863, he said, "Advance ye future generations. Take the heritage we bequeath you and not preserve but improve it."
Sincerely, Endis Rabody Governor

To the Townspeople of Wilbraham:
It is a privilege to send greetings to the residents of the Town of Wilbraham on the occasion of the town's Two Hundredth Anni - versary.
From its first settlement in the midst of the wilderness, the Town of Wilbraham has been always in the forefront of the educa- tional and social development of Western Massachusetts. Its famous Academy is one of the finest in the nation. With its natural endowments and the hard work of its citizens over the years, the Town of Wilbraham has become a showplace for the best and most lasting values of New England life.
I wish the Town every success for pros- perity and growth in the future.
Sincerely,
Schod M Kenedy Edward M. Kennedy

To The Townspeople Wilbraham, Massachusetts
My Fellow Americans :
Congratulations on the occasion of the 200th Anniversary of the Town of Wilbraham.
A bicentennial celebration is a deeply moving and significant event. It is, indeed, a magnificent milestone in the history of any com- munity. It offers the people of Wilbraham an un- usual opportunity to pause and reflect on the good- ness and the greatness of this wonderful, typical New England town. It occasions the thanks of the present inhabitants to a long line of devoted and dedicated town officials and residents, past and present, who helped to mold, build and preserve the character of Wilbraham.
The people of Wilbraham can take great pride in their community and give thanks for the fate that enabled them to be a part of this friendly, beautiful town.
As your Representative in the Congress of the United States, I am privileged to extend to the Town of Wilbraham on its Bicentennial the greetings of The United States of America.
Sincerely yours, Sword & Boland

Ludlow Savings Bank
JAMES P. CORMACK PRESIDENT
To the Townspeople of Wilbraham:
The Ludlow Savings Bank is privileged to sponsor this brochure detailing events of Wilbraham's Bicentennial obser- vance for indeed the Bank is part and parcel of a good portion of Wilbraham's history.
Seventy-five years ago, in 1888, Wilbraham men were among its founders, and today citizens of Wilbraham play im- portant roles in its operation.
The success and growth of Wilbraham have been parall- eled by that of the Ludlow Savings Bank in a striking illus- tration of the mutuality of benefit and advantage envisioned in the concept of truly mutual savings banking.
The officers and staff of the Ludlow Savings Bank are proud of the part it has played in Wilbraham's illustrious past, and pledge that they stand ready to help it to continue to contribute measurably to Wilbraham's future, as the Town confidently enters upon its third Century of Progress.
Sincerely,
LUDLOW SAVINGS BANK
