LOCATION-Holderness, N. H., one hundred twenty-five miles from Boston, among the foot- hills of the White Mountains; in the lake region of New Hampshire; six hundred feet above sea level; in the most healthful and picturesque part of New England.


EQUIPMENT-The main building, the chapel and the new gymnasium represent the best types of academic and ecclesiastical architecture. In addition to the boys' rooms and alcoves, there are in the main building an infirmary, a common-room, an assembly-room, a library and reading-room, the dining-room, and the masters' apartments.


The school house is a separate building and contains a study-hall and five recitation rooms. The athletic field has a cinder running track, tennis courts, a football gridiron and a baseball field, with bleachers. P


OBJECT-To prepare boys for college and scientific schools-especially for Trinity College and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology; to develop the whole nature-body, mind, and spirit; to inspire and promote manly, Christian character.


ADMINISTRATION- Three courses of instruction cover five years and are administered by men of experience and culture. A physical director supervises all out-door sports and the gymna- sium practice.
