Ordered, Upon the petition of Michael Hillegas, in behalf of his son Samuel Ilillegas, and upon the petition of John Dorset, that a pardon issue for the said John Dorset, now confined in the old gaol under sentence of death, upon condition that he be trans- ported to some foreign country with the time limited by law, and - not return again to this State, or any of the United States of America.
A passport was granted to Owen Jones, Junior, to go into the oity of New York, and to return again.
This being the day assigned for the meeting of the Board of Property of this State, the Honorable General Ewing and Mr. Hayes'agreed to meet the other members of the said Board.

An order was drawn on the Treasurer of the Stato in favour d the Honorable James Ewing, Esquire, for the sum of one hundred and twenty-five pounds specie, being one quarter's salary as Vier President, due upon the seventh instant.

In favor of John and Henry Apt, and John Stutzer, for the sum of twenty-eight pounds specie, due to them for repairs made upon the State House pumps.
In favor of William Lynn, for five pounds twelve shillings and six pence specie, for sorvices performed in transporting a quantity of State stores from this city to Carlisle.
In favor of Captain Philip Schrawder, for the sum of five bun- dred and thirty-eight pounds ten shillings, he to be accountable, to be applied in discharging two months' pay to the Northampton county and Northumberland county Ranging companies, now sta- tioned at Wyoming, and to be paid out of the fund appropriated to the frontier defence.
In favour of Hugh M'Collom, for the sum of eight pounds ten shillings, for the purpose of transporting a quantity of publick am- munition from this city to Conecocheage.
Ordered, That the corporal punishment to have been inflicted upon Hannah McDonald, agreeably to sentence passed upon her by. the last City Court, on conviction of larceny, be remitted.

A return of Burgesses and other officers" elected for the town of Carlisle, was received and read.

The Comptroller General's report upon the accounts of Heary Miller, Esquire, Sheriff of York county, Thomas Hale, Esq'r, kt Agent for Forfeited Estates in the county of Philadelphia, Jacob Shoemaker and John Hayes, Esquires, Sub-Lieutenant d the county of Northampton, were read and approved.
Upon the petition of John Snyder, now confined in the old gal Ordered, That the fine of ninety-eight pounds, to which he sentenced upon conviction of larceny, be remitted.

An order was drawn on the Treasurer in favor of Thomas Smith, quire, Commissioner of the Continental Loans, for the sum of hundred thousand pounds, in notes issued by act of Assembly Litled "An Act for providing the quota of Foederal supplies, ," for the purpose of discharging the interest due on certificates money loaned, or other debts due by the United States to the Habitants of this State.
