THOMAS WEBSTER, of Northampton, Mass., was married to Abigail Alexander, daughter of - Alexander, of the same town, June 16, 1663.1
Mr. Thomas Webster died at Northfield, Mass., in 1686.
His widow, Mrs. Abigail Webster, survived her husband. but died before March, 1690.

At a County Court held at Northampton, in and for the county of Hampshire, Mass., March 31, 1685,-" Samll Partrigg was allowed pay'nt for drawing out Coppys of Tests to be sent to y- Bay in Goodwife Webster's case woin [wherein] she was accused with famil- iaritee with ye devell."
+ Mr. Thomas Webster settled in Northampton, Mass. In or about the year 1674, he removed to Northfield, but was soon driven away by the Indians, and went to Hadley, Mass. Ile, however, returned to Northfield, and there resided during the remainder of his life. Ile probably lost all his estate in Northtield when attacked by the enemy in 1675, but at the time of his death. he left a good estate there in land ; Northfield being broken up again in 1690, remained desolate over twenty years thereafter, and its lands became valueless. Mr. Webster's children were brought up among the Alexander and other relatives.
Hampshire County Court Records, Book I, p. 127 At a County Court, hohlen at Northampton, in and for said County. March 28, 1670, " Thomas Webster, and Edward Scott, presented at the last Court at Springfield, for defaming [?] the Sabbath, by travelling to Westfield fromward Windsor late in the night before the Sabbath, and warned here to appear ; and they were both admonished of their offence, and ordered to pay each of them, two and sixpence to the Recorder, as his fees, and so were dismissed."

[After the death of Mr. Webster, his widow was married to Lieut. Benjamin Graham, of Hartford, being his second wife, November 28, 1698. He died in 1725.]

Samuel Webster, Esq., died February 1, 1744, aged -. He was honored with the appointment of High Sheriff of Hartford County, September 7, 1708, which office he resigned August 1, 1721, and recommended Col. William Whiting, of Hartford, as his successor, on whom the office was bestowed.
His widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Webster, died in 1747, aged 79.

EBENEZER WEBSTER, of Hartford, Conn., was married to Han- nah Webster, daughter of Robert Webster, 2d, of Hartford. She was born November 7, 1695.
Mrs. Hannah Webster died November 11, 1775, aged 80. Mr. Ebenezer Webster died February 12, 1776, aged 86.

To Mirriam Kellogg, widow of Abraham Kellogg, deceased,* of Hartford, and daughter of Noah Cooke, t of Northampton, Mass., and of Sarah his wife, daughter of Joseph Nash, one of the early settlers of Hartford, about 1719. She was born September 30, 1690, and died -. 2. To Hannah Bird, widow of Jonathan Bird, deceased, of Farmington.
Capt. Daniel Webster died December 21, 1765, aged 72. Mrs. Hannah Webster died October 17, 1776, aged -.

MATTHEW WEBSTER, first of Hartford, Con., afterwards of Schaghticoke, Rensselaer County, N. Y., was married to Mabel Pratt, daughter of William Pratt. of Hartford. 1747.
* Abraham Kellogg died soon after his marriage to Mirriam Kellogg, having no issue.
¡ Noah Cooke was born June 14, 1657, and was son, by his first wife, of Capt. Aaron Cooke, of Dorchester, Mass., in 1630,-one of the first settlers of Windsor, Conn., in 1635 or 1636, of Northampton, Mass., about 1660, afterwards of Westfield, Mass., where he resided a few years, and then of Northampton, where lie died September 5, 1690, aged 80.

NOAH WEBSTER, of Hartford, Conn., was married to Mercy Steele, daughter of Eliphalet Steele of the same town, January 12. 1749.
Mrs. Mercy Webster died October 5, 1794, aged 67. Noah Webster, Esq., died November 9, 1813. in his 92d year. Children.

THOMAS WELLES, one of the first settlers of Hartford, Conn., and Wethersfield, Conn., and one of the early Governors of the Colony of Connecticut, was twice married. 1. To Aice She died -. 2. To Elizabeth Foote, widow of Nathaniel Foote, one of the first settlers of Wethersfield, about 1646. She was sister of Hon. John Deming, who, likewise was one of the first settlers of Wethersfield.
