JOHN CHESTER. of Wethersfield, Conn., was married to Sarah Noyes, daughter of Rev. Joseph Noyes, pastor of the first Con- gregational church at New Haven, Conn., November 19, 1747.
Hon. John Chester died September 11, 1771, aged 68. His widow, Mrs. Sarah Chester, died JJanuary 25. 1797, aged 75.

«. Hon. John Chester was a Colonel in the army of the Revolution, and distinguished him- self by his bravery at the battle of Bunker Hill. He sustained several important civil offices. the duties of which he performed with great fidelity. In all the private relations of life, he was much esteemed and beloved for his amiableness, sincerity, hospitality and benevolence. Ile was a sincere and pious Christian.

[After her death, being in England, Mr. Williams was there married to Elizabeth Scott, only daughter of the Rev. Thomas Scott, of Norwich, England ; surviving whom, she was married to the Hon. William Smith, of the city of New-York, May 12, 1761, at Wethersfield, upon whose decease she returned to Wethersfield, where she resided at Mr. Sheriff Williams's until her death, June 13, 1776, aged 68.]

Sammel Whiting, first minister of Lynn, Mass., and of Elizabeth his second wife, daughter of the Right Hon. Oliver St. John, of England. He came into New England with his father, and arrived at Boston, May 26, 1636. He was graduated at Harvard College in 1653, settled in Billerica, 1658, and was ordained there November 11, 1663."7
Mrs. Dorcas Whiting died February 16, 1713, aged 76. Rev. Samuel Whiting died February 28, 1713, aged 80.

DANIEL CLARK, one of the first settlers of Windsor, Conn., was twice married. 1. To Mary Newberry. of Windsor, daughter of Thomas Newberry. f June 13, 1644. She died Angust 29, 1688. 2. To Martha Wolcott, widow of Simon Wolcott, deceased, of the same town, and sister of William Pitkin, Esq., one of the early settlers of Hartford, Conn.
Hon. Daniel Clark died August 12, 1710. " in the 88th year of his age, or thereabonts." [Windsor Records. ] He was an Attor- ney at Law, and, during his long life, was generally in public office .¿

Mrs. Abigail Clark died January 28, 1833, aged 76.

DOCT. HEZEKIAH CLARK, of Pompey, N. Y., was married to Lucy Bliss, daughter of Hon. Moses Bliss, of Springfield, Mass., June 2, 1785. She was born June 19, 1766.
Doct. Hezekiah Clark died at Pompey, N. Y., March 4, 1826, aged 68.
His widow, Mrs. Lucy Clark, died at Syracuse, N. Y., January 19, 1850, aged 83.

76 Henry, born January 20, 1787. Died, by drowning, September 29, 1788. 77 Henry, born January 25, 1789. Was a Lawyer. Served as an officer in the war of 1812, and died, unmar- ried, at Ithaca, N. Y., February 19, 1817, aged 28.

* Jabez Clark, Esq., was an upright, brave and honorable man. He served through the Revolutionary War, in the Quarter Master General's Department, in good reputation, and subsequently held the honorable office of Chief Justice of Windham County Court.

DOCT. DEODATES CLARK, first of Cambridge, Washington County, N. Y.,-then of New Lebanon Springs, N. Y.,-then of Clinton, Oneida County, N. Y.,-then of Pompey Hill, Onondaga County, N. Y., and afterwards of the City of Oswego, N. Y., where he continued to reside until his death, was married on the 2d of February, 1794, while residing in Clinton, to Nancy Dun- ham, eldest daughter of Deacon Daniel Dunhanı, of Lebanon Crank, Columbia, Conn., grand-daughter by her mother's side of Rev. Samuel Moseley, Pastor of the Congregational Church at Hampton, Conn., and sister of the late Col. Josiah Dunham, formerly of Windsor, Ver., but more recently of Lexington, Ken.
