GORE. Ia the post-office name for Geresburg, which is also known as Dan- ville Junction. It is located in Bovle coun- ty, at the junction of the C. S. R'y with the Knoxville branch L. & N. R. R., 5 miles south of Danville, the county-sest. This enterprising village now has a popu- lation of 200, and is rapidly increasing. A good hotel, the Gore House, also church and school are here.
