Monday, January 18, 1960, adjourned to March 24, 1960
On a warrant duly issued by Sclectmen under the date of Dceember 29, 1959, and signed by Harry B. Butters, Walter J. Dempsey, Charles L. Rich, James J. Drummey, and John A. Abdallah, Selectmen of Nor- wood, the meeting was called to order by the Moderator, Walter J. Gotovich. The proper service of this warrant was duly attested by James E. Quinn, Constable of Norwood.
All the requirements of the statutes and by-laws relating to elections and town meetings were complicd with. The warrant calling the meet- ing was read by Town Clerk and Accountant Bartley W. Connolly. The artieles contained in the warrant, and action thereunder being as follows:
ARTICLE 1. To choose all necessary Town Officers: The following are to be chosen by ballot, namely: Two Sclcetmen for three years: one Town Treasurer and Collector of Taxes for one year; one Moderator for one year; one member of the Board of Health for three years; two members of the School Committee for three years; one Finance Com- missioner for three years; two Trustees of the Morrill Memorial Library for three years: one member of the Town Planning Board for five years; one member of the Norwood Housing Authority for five years; two Con- stables for one ycar; five Town Meeting Members for District One for three years; Seven Town Meeting Members for Distriet Two for three years; one Town Meeting Member for District Two for one year (to fill vacancy) ; three Town Meeting Members for District Three for three years; one Town Meeting Member for District Three for one year (to fill vacancy) ; six Town Meeting Members for Distriet Four for three years; seven Town Meeting Members for District Five for three years; six Town Meeting Members for Distriet Six for three years; seven Town Meeting Members for Distriet Seven for three years; seven Town Meeting Members for Distriet Eight for three years; five Town Meeting Members for District Nine for three years; one Town Meeting Member for one year for District Nine (to fill vacancy) ; and to vote by ballot upon the following question:
