ARTICLE 29. To see if the Town will vote to amend the existing Zoning By-Law by striking out the last sentence in the last paragraph of Section 16, subsection (c) and by adding to Section 16 a new subsection (d) as follows:


(d) Highway Setbacks. In Trunk Highway Districts, Division A and B and in Manufacturing Districts and Single Residence Districts which abutt the Highway, no new building shall be constructed, and no building shall be altered, enlarged, extended, reconstructed, raised or moved so that any external wall is located nearer to the line of any Trunk Highway or to the line of any intersecting street than the following distances in the following areas:


(1) One hundred (100) feet.


On the easterly side of Route 1, from the Westwood line to 308 feet north- erly of East Cross Street and from Dean Street to the Walpole line. On the westerly side of Route 1, from Everett Street to Pleasant Street and from Dean Street to the Walpole line.


(2) Seventy-five (75) feet.


On the easterly side of Route 1, from East Cross Street northerly a distance of 308 feet, and from East Cross Street southerly a distance of five hundred (500) feet.


On the westerly side of Route 1, from the Westwood line to Everett Street and from Pleasant Street to Neponset Street.
