being a person in the employment of said railroad corporation, as a railroad police officer of and for said corporation, was acted upon, and upon said petition the person named therein, being a person in the employment of said corporation, was appointed a police officer to act as a railroad police officer of and for said corporation for the purposes and with the powers set forth in Chapter 463 of the acts of 1906 and acte in addition thereto and amandatory thereof, to hold said office until said appointment is revoked according to low.
