it's attorney, and the Town of Westborough by John W. Slattery, Esg., its attorney, and we're heard, - it is considered and adjudged by said commissioners that said petition ought Is be granted and that public con- venience and security require certain alter- ations in the bridge mentioned in said petition, and therewhon said Commiss woners prescribe the manner and limits within which such alterations shall be made as follows :- 1 . The present undeclearence of the highway under the bridge is to remain unchanged.


2. The present width of the high- way between the abutments is to remain unchanged.


3. The present abutments are to be extended, - the easterly abutment on the southerly end and the westerly abutment on both ends as shown on the hlaw here inafter referred to.


4. The present superstructure is to be removed. On the present abutments is to be placed a new superstructure consisting of steel beams or girders encased in concrete to form a solid slab for the support of the ballast and tracks of the railroad.


The work is to be done in accordance with a filan marked"Masonry plan, Boston and albany R. R., N. Y.C., & H. R. R.R. Co., lessee, Bridge 43A, Boston Division, Over Water Street, 1/3 mile W. of Westborough, Mass," signed by W.J. Steffens, Engineer of Structures and A. B. and that the Water Commissioners and Your Treasurer be a committee for the sale ofsuch bonds at public or private sale at such time and all such, amounts and for such prices as the said committee way deut expedient.
