Recevant of Town Clerk J. S. gates, twelve hundred Official Ballots (1200) and one hundred and fifty Women's Ballots (50) Warren P. Jacken moderator.

Dr. Edwin B. Harvey, asked unanimous consent to offer certain resolutions relating to the late selectman, Thomas H. Reilly. Consent being granted, Dr. Harvey presented the follow- 1-2-1g.
Westborough, Mase., march 18, 1912. Whereas, by the death of mr. Thomas A. Reilly a vacancy exists in the Board of Select- men, and
Whereas, Mr. Reilly had served the town for many years in an official capacity, there fore be it
Resolved, That in the death of Mr. Reilly, the Town of Westborough has sustained the lose, not only of one of its best known and respected citizens, but one of its chief officials, - one, whom for years in succession, the Town had honored in its choice of officers as specially fitted to lead in the > anagement of its affaire; and there fore be it further.
Resolved, That in recognition of the public services of the late Mr. Reilly as member and chairman of the Board of Selectmen, the Town, in meeting assembled, desires to enter when it's records this expression of its high appreciation of him as a man of noble character and an ferial of marked ability and unquestioned integrity.

Said Contract to provide for six lights in addition to those now in use, the lights to be burning every night and in the winter mornings, and that the Fire Engine House be lighted with electricity bysaid company without expense to the town, and such other provisions as the Selectmen may diem for the best interests of the town.

Upon petition of the Directors of the Boston and alban Railroad Company, filed with the Clerk on the eighteenth day of april, a. D. 1912, and thence by die adjournment and contin- wance pending till the present time, represent ind that the Boston and albany Railroad and a public way know as Water Street, in the Town of Westborough, County of Worcester and Common wealth of massachusetts, cross each other at a bridge known as Boston and albany bridge, No. 43a; and that it is necessary for the security or convenience of the public that an alteration, which does not involve the aboli- tion of a crossing at grade, should be made in the crossing, the alfroaches thereto, the location of the railroad or way, or in the bridge at the crossing: praying that said commissioners firescribe the manner and limite wi, which such alteration shall be made.
