CITIZENS WHO FAIL TO ATTEND THE ANNUAL TOWN MEETING - ONE EVENING A YEAR - ARE NOT ONLY UNMINDFUL OF THEIR OWN INTERESTS BUT ARE UNFAIR TO THE LARGE NUMBER OF MEN AND WOMEN WHO GIVE SO FREELY OF THEIR TIME AND ENERGY IN THE MANAGEMENT OF THE BUSI- NESS OF THE TOWN AND ARE ANXIOUS TO LEARN WHETHER THEIR POLICIES AND PROCEDURE ARE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DESIRES OF THE MAJORITY.

0

CITIZENS WHO RESPOND TO THE CALL FOR SERVICE ON APPOINTED TOWN COMMITTEES ARE NOURISH- ING THE DEMOCRATIC PROCESS WITH THEIR STRENGTH AND THEIR PRINCIPLES. DO NOT FAIL YOUR COMMUNITY. YOUR TOWN GOVERNMENT CAN BE AS GOOD AS YOU CARE TO MAKE IT.
