In favor of William Lynn, for five pounds twelve shillings and six pence specie, for services performed in transporting a quantity of State stores from this city to Carlisle.
In favor of Captain Philip Schrawder, for the sum of five hun- dred and thirty-eight pounds ten shillings, he to be accountable, to be applied in discharging two months' pay to the Northampton county and Northumberland county Ranging companies, now sta- tioned at Wyoming, and to be paid out of the fund appropriated to the frontier defence.
In favour of Hugh M'Collom, for the sum of eight pounds ten shillings, for the purpose of transporting a quantity of publick am- munition from this city to Conecocheage.
Ordered, That the corporal punishment to have been inflicted upon Hannah McDonald, agreeably to sentence passed upon her by the last City Court, on conviction of larceny, be remitted.

Two orders were drawn upon the Treasurer of the State in favour of his Excellency John Dickinson, Esquire, President, for the sum of twelve hundred and fifty pounds specie, being the amount of his salary for one year as President of the State, the whole to become due on the seventh day of November, 1783.
Two deeds were examined and signed by his Excellency the President, for divers lots of ground in the city of Philadelphia, sold agreeable to law, for redemption of the bills of credit of this State of the twenty-ninth of April, 1780, as follows, vizt :

Resolved, That Mr John Stokely be appointed Collector of Ex- cise for the county of Westmoreland, in the room of Anthony Thompson, resigned.
Upon the Comptroller General's report on the account of Wil- liam Roberts, an order was drawn on the Treasurer in favour of the said William Roberts, for the sum of three pounds and ten pence, due to him, being the price of a writing desk furnished by him for publick purposes.
Resolved, That Mr. William Turnbull be requested to act on the part of this State, in appraising such articles of cloathing as have been procured from the Superintendant of Finance, in conse- quence of the order of Council of the seventh instant.

Upon the petition of John Bullar, convicted of a misdemeanor at the late Court of Oyer and Terminer held for the county of Chester, and sentenced to pay a fine of fifty pounds specie, to the use of the State, remain imprisoned till the fourth day of July, &ca., &ca.
Ordered, That the imprisonment of said Bullar be remitted, on condition that he give sufficient security for the payment of the fine, and fulfil the remaining part of the sentence.

An order was drawn upon the Treasurer in favour of John Nich- olson, Esquire, Comptroller General of Accounts. for the sum of five hundred pounds State money of the seventh of April, 1781, for the discharge of one-third of depreciation certificates to officers and soldiers of the Pennsylvania line, agreeably to an act of Gen- eral Assembly bearing date on the thirteenth day of April, 1782, for which the said Comptroller is to account.
An invoice and appraisement of cloathing, procured under the minute of Tuesday, the thirteenth instant, by the Honorable James Irvine and John Van Campen, were read and accepted.

A deed was examined and signed by the Hon'ble James Ewing, Esquire, Vice President, conveying to Joseph Dean, Esquire, one hundred and thirty-six acres of land, situate in Upper Merion town- ship, in the county of Philadelphia, late the estate of William Bell, late of the county of Chester, an attainted traytor, being the same tract which the said Bell, before his attainder of high treason, did covenant to convey to the said Joseph Dean, in ffee simple. Deed dated the thirtieth day of May, 1783. [Note-That Mr. Dean hath paid to the Treasurer of the State the ballance of the purchase money, according to the agreement with said Bell, and given bond for the payment of the interest on the said ballance, in case the General Assembly shall determine that the same ought to be paid.

The following orders were drawn upon the Treasurer, vizt :
In favour of Robert Turner, for ten pounds specie, in full of his account for hoisting and repairing the State flagg.
In favour of John Patterson, Commissary of Issues for the county of Northampton, for the sum of fifty pounds eight shillings specie, in compensation for his publick services from the nineteenth of July'till the first of December, 1782, to be paid out of the fund appropriated to the frontier defence.
In favour of the Hon'ble Sebastian Levan, for the sum of fifty- three pounds seven shillings and six pence, in full of his account for attendance in Council from the first day of April last till this day, inclusive.
In 'favour of Frederick Sneider, for the sum of fifteen pounds twelve shillings and six pence, in full of his account for his wages as Door-keeper to Council till this day, inclusively, and cash paid for five newspapers.
The Comptroller General's report on the account of Nicholas Sweyer, for his own and the pay of a number of waggons under his direction, was read and approved.
The petition of Thomas Hill, praying remission of his militia fine, was read and referred to the Lieutenant of the county of Bucks.
Upon the petition of Jane Keane, convicted of keeping a disor- derly house at the City Quarter Sessions of October, 1782, and sentenced to pay a fine of fifty pounds to the use of the State,
Ordered, That twenty pounds of the said fine be remitted.
