Services were conducted at Valley Mortuary Chapel, Lake Isabella, Tuesday, March 15, for Edna Ardessa Castle, 71, who died March 12 at Kern Valley Hospital. Interment followed at Kern Valley Cemetery.
Born in Ohio, June 14, 1905, she last resided in Southlake.
She is survived by her widower, William A. Castle; her daughter, Shirley Buckner, Barstow; and her grandson, Tony Buckner, also of Barstow. Arrangements by Valley Mortuary.
Anthony Antonelli
Anthony Joseph Antonelli passed away March 4 in Los Angeles. He was born in Revere, Massachusetts, on September 14, 1920, and had lived in California for 38 years. He was a manager for the Boys Markets in Hawthorne, and was the former owner of Mt. Mesa Restaurant.
He is survived by his widow, Mary; one brother, Louis of Gardena; 4 sisters, Elane Stebelski, Jennle Fon- tana, Gloria Calabrese, Reta Pickett.

Services were held in Valley Mortu- ary Chapel Friday, March 18, for Clinton Vincent Weaver, 77, who died March 14 in Lake Isabella. Father Mark Renner officiated and Elks Lodge conducted a special chapel service. Military burial followed at Kern Valley Cemetery.
Born June 1, 1999, in Indiana, he Uved in the valley the past seven years. He was a veteran of World War I, a thirty-year member of Elks, and member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion.
He is survived by his widow, Jessie Weaver, Lake Isabella; bis sono, Douglas Weaver of San Diego, and Anthony Weaver of Alhambra; and his sister Martiena Frenchette of Indiana.

Services were held in Hillcrest Mortuary Chapel Monday, March: 21 at 11 a.m. for Frank E. Palmer, 71, who died March 17. Rev. Hugh Power of the First Baptist Church of Lake Isabella officiated.
Mr. Palmer, born in Texas, resided in Kern County 22 years. He was a member of the Chamber of Com- merce of Kern River Valley, deputy registrar of Lake Isabella 15 years, -active in Rodeo Association of Lake Isabella and Demolay of Los Angeles. Survivors include the widow, Miriam, of Bakersfield; a son, James Clark of Napa; one daughter, Patricia Mccown of San Leandro; his niece, Jorene Solomon of Upland; and four grandchildren.

Services were conducted at Valley Mortuary Chapel, Lake Isabella, Mon- day, March 28, for Willis Earl Crow- der, 81, who died March 24, at Kern Valley Hospital. Father Bruce Spen- cer of Ridgecrest oluciated and inter- inent followed at Kern Valley Ceme- tery.
Born in Tennessee October 12, 1895, lie spent his last years In Lake Isabella and was a 48-year member of Elks Lodge in Redondo Beach.
He Is survived by his daughter, Ruth Martin, Bodfish; two brothers, Walter Crowder of Oklahoma, and Paul Crowder of Washington; three sisters, Lois Craney of Oklahoma, Ruth Adcock of Virginia, Annie Grant of Texas; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearera were Howard Collins, William Justice, Wilbur Branston, John Katzenbarger, Robert Hayden, and Ike Archer.

Howard Tizzard
Memorial services were held for Howard C. Tizzard, 73, who died March 20 at Kern Valley Hospital. Father Fredrick Johnson of St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Kernville, officiated at the service along with members of Kern River Post No. 7665 Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He was born in 1904 in Rochester, New York, and came to California in 1942 while he was in the U.S. Navy. He had made his home in the Los Angeles area before living his last four years In Kernville.
He Is aurvived by his widow, Dorothy Tizzard, Kernville; his two step-sons, Jack O'Neill of Oakland, Edmund O'Neill of Fresno; and four grandchildren.

Gracie Grothe
Services were held Friday, March 25 at First Baptist Church of Lake Isabella for Gracle D. Grothe, 77, who died at Granada Hills Community Hospital after a long illness. Services were officiated by Rev. Dale Brown, a long-time family friend.
Mrs. Grothe was born on October 5, 1900 In Kewanee, Illinois and moved to Lake Isabella in July, 1972.
She is survived by widower Paul; son Lee Grothe of Lake Isabella; sister Margaret Lee and brother Paul DeCracne, both of Kewanee, Illinois; three grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
Internment was at Kern Valley Cemetery in Wofford Heighta.

Services were conducted at St. Margaret Mary Church in Lomita Saturday, April 9, for John L. Camell, 42, who died April 5 at Kern Valley Hospital. Interment followed at All Souls Cemetery In Long Beach.
Born August 13, 1934, in Minnesota, he last resided In Kernville. He assumed operation of Kern Korner Store, Kernville, laat September from former owners and long time friends, Ben and Carol Burns. He was a member of St. Jude Parish in Wofford Heights and former member of St. Margaret Mary Church and its Altar Society. He worked for Triad Indust- ries in Torrance before moving to Kernville.
He is survived by his widow, Kath- leen (Tikey) Camell of Kernville; his son, Ken Camell of Torrance; his daughter, Pam Camell of Kernville; his mother, Marie Camell of Minne- sota; two brothers, Kenneth Camell of Colorado, Jacob Camell of Minnesota; and three sisters, Mary Lou Camell of Minnesota, Shirley Vitale of New Jersey, and Edna Mae Woodman of South Gate.

Edward Hill
Funeral services for G. Edward Hill, 87, who died Monday evening, May 30, In Cottonwood, Arizona, were conducted Saturday, June 4, at 10:30 a.m. In the Church of the Hills, Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills, with Rev. Mike Goodyear,. Kernville United Methodist Church officiating. Inter- ment followed at Forest Lawn, Holly- wood Hills.
Hill was born in Decatur, Macon County, Illinois, June 10, 1909. He was raised and educated there. In 1937 he moved to California, where he worked in administration for Lockheed Air- craft Corporation, retiring after 32 years, May 30, 1970. After living several years in Wofford Heights, he has resided the past year In West Sedona, Arizona.
He was a member of the Kern River Valley Masonic Lodge No. 827 F & AM, Kern River Valley Chapter No. 643 O.E.S., Lockheed Management Club, and the Kernville United Methodist Church.
Survivors Include his widow, H. Hope Hill, Sedona; two daughters, Janice Mears, San Jose, and Carol Mahakalan, Glendale; one grand- daughter; two sisters, Nancy Banta, Los Angeles, and Anna Pearl Brint- linger, Decatur, Illinois; one brother, Robert W. Hill, Decatur, Illinois.
Elsie Wildman
Services will be conducted Satur- day, June 18, 11:30 a.m. at Pierce Brothers Little Country Chapel, 10621 Victory Boulevard, North Hollywood, for Elsie M. Wildman, 75, who died at Riverside Hospital in North Holly- wood June 13. Interment will follow at Valhalla Memorial Park, North Holly wood.
Born in Los Angeles in 1902, she spent her life in California, with ten years in Wofford Heights. .
She is survived by her widower, Ralph W. Wildman, Wofford Heights; her daughter, June Moore, of North- ridge; two sisters, Kate Sedlacek, of Covina and Alice Murphy of Oracle, Arizona; two grandsons, Bob Moore of Seal Beach and Bill Moore of North- ridge; two great - grandsons, Bobby and Michael Moore, both of Seal Beach.

Vernie Wilson
Graveside service was held Tues- day, June 14 in Hillcrest Memorial Park for Vernle Wayne Wilson, 49, Three Rivers, who died June II in a Freno hospital. Dr. Thomas Toler officiated.
Wilson, a native of Missouri, lived in California 40 years. He was employed by the Southern California Edison Company 28 years as a maintenance engineer. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Electricians Union, Local 47.
Survivors include the widow, Enld; son, Danny Lee of Kernville; daughtera, Vicke Ray and Brenda Vega of Lake Isabella, Terry Gann of Lancaster and Vinnie Reed of Or- chards, Wash .; 4 brothers, Clarence of Bakersfield, George of Wofford Heights, Ernest of Fresno and Ralph of New York; 3 sisters, Ruby Glass of Watts Valley, Eula Lucky of Pinedale and Velma Vance of Fresno and 3 grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Americar. Cancer So- ciety. Doughty-Calhoun-O'Meara.
Harry Worline
Services will be held at Greenlawn Mortuary Chapel, Baker and Pano- rama, Bakersfield, Friday, June 24, at 10 a.m. for Harry Worline, who died Tuesday, June 21 in Bakersfield. Kern River Valley Lodge No. 827 F&AM will officiate both chapel and grave- side services.
Pallbearers will be John Russell, Al Loustalot, Norm Hylton, Ken Hed, Lou Deadrich, and Clint James.
Helen Langdon
Services were held Monday, June 20 at 2 p.ni. in the chapel of Doughty- Calhoun-O'Meara Mortuary for Helen R. Langdon, 86, Lake Isabella, who died June 16. Eider Owen P. Jones of the Central Seventh-day Adventist Church officiated. Private interment followed Tuesday in Woodlawn Ceme- tery in Santa Monica.
