Voted Unanimously: That the Town Treasurer, with the approval of the Selectmen, be and hereby is authorized to borrow money from time to time in anticipation of the revenue of the financial year begin- ning January 1, 1938, and to issue a note or notes there- for, payable within one year, and to renew any note or notes as may be given for a period of less than one year in accordance with Section 17, Chapter 44, General Laws.

Welch, Timothy J. Lyons, Herman H. McGrath, Napoleon White, Frank Gaffney, Clement Taylor, Charles Blakely, Harold Macauley, Theodore S. Luddington be appointed to de- mand lower electric light rates and street lighting rates, and to make a study of the advisability of recommending the erection of a Municipal Electric Light and Power Plant and to report the results and recommendations of said Committee at a Special Town Meeting to be called not later than October 1, 1938, and that the sum of $250.00 be raised and appropriated for the expense of the Com- mittee.
Article 23. Voted: That a committee of five be ap- pointed by the Moderator to demand lower telephone toll rate to Boston and all other telephone rates affecting the citizens of Randolph.

Article 24. Voted: That the Board of Selectmen be instructed, in the interests of Public Safety, to erect "Stop" traffic signs on Depot Street, Cottage Street,

North Street, Union Street, Mill Street, South Street, and that the sum of $110.00 be taken from the Police Expense account to pay for the same.
Article 26. Voted: That a committee composed of George H. Chase, George N. Welch, James L. Pember- ton, Thomas E. Daly, Elmer J. Delorey, G. Henry Tangen be appointed to consider the adoption by the Town of representative town government, with authority in said committee to draft a bill embodying such legislation as the committee shall deem necessary, and report their finding at the next annual town meeting.
Article 27. Voted: That a committee of six be ap- pointed by the Moderator to bring in their recommen- dations at the next annual town meeting.
Street Layouts
Article 28. Voted: Indefinite postponement.
Article 29. Voted: That the sum of $100.00 be raised and appropriated and that the Town instruct the Select- men to lay out Ballard Street, from North Main Street, in an easterly direction 600 feet.
Article 30. Voted: That the Town instruct the Se- lectmen to lay out the following streets: Jane, Wads- worth, Mitchell, Royal, Linden Road, Thomas Street, Aug- usta Street, Morse Street, Fitzgerald Street and Ryan Street, and that the sum of $900.00 be raised and appro- priated for laying out these streets.
Article 31. Voted: That the Town instruct the Selectmen to lay out Amelian Road, a distance of 1500 feet, starting at Pond Street and running in a southerly direction, and raise and appropriate $100.00 therefor.
Article 32. Voted: Indefinite postponement.

Street Acceptances
Article 33. Voted: That the Town accept Pond Lane, as laid out by the Selectmen for a distance of 2,000 feet from Oak Street on condition that all abutting owners waive land damages and that the sum of $5.00 be raised and appropriated in case there are land damages needed.
Street Construction
Article 34. Voted: That the street be made pass- able for children by the Highway Surveyor out of the Highway General appropriation.
Article 35. Voted: Indefinite postponement.
Article 36. Voted: Indefinite postponement.
Article 37. Voted: Indefinite postponement.
Article 38. Voted: Indefinite postponement.
Article 39. Voted: That the Highway Surveyor re- build and resurface Fencourt Avenue from Centre Street to the McNeill School, a distance of 600 feet; the expense for same to be taken care of out of the Highway General appropriation.
Article 40. Voted: That the Highway Surveyor re- build and resurface Fowler Street, a distance of 800 feet, the expense for the same to be taken care of out of the Highway General appropriation.
Article 41. Voted: Indefinite postponement.

Street Lights
Article 47. Voted: That the sum of $28.00 be raised and appropriated for two Street Lights on Maitland Avenue for the remainder of the year.
Article 48. Voted: That the sum of $17.50 be raised and appropriated for expenses for one electric light on Cole Terrace, corner of Junior Terrace.
Article 49. Voted: Indefinite postponement.
Article 50. Voted: That the sum of $49.50 be raised and appropriated for additional electric lights on Canton Street for the balance of the year.
Drainage
Article 51. Voted: That this work be done under the Employment Fund or a W. P. A. project, and that the money for the materials be taken from the Highway General Expense.
