NO-SCHOOL SIGNALS
*Three blows repeated at
7.15 A. M. No session for Senior and Junior High Schools.
8.15 A. M. No morning session for the first six grades.
12.30 P. M. No afternoon session for the first six grades.
By courtesy of the WNAC Broadcasting Station, no- school announcement will be given out over the radio as near to the local hours as is convenient and possible for the station announcer.
There will be days when schools are in session because weather conditions are not severe enough to cause complete shut-down of all activities. On such days, parents, as in former years, determine whether their children shall attend. No excuse will be required of pupils for absence on such days unless the parent so wishes. Consideration will be given pupils striving for perfect attendance.
It is essential that we keep in mind that State Law requires that the High school shall be in session at least 180 days of each school year, and for the grade schools, 160 days.
