Article 48. Voted: That no action be taken on this article as same will be taken care of under Article 49.
Article 49. Voted: That the sum of $5,500.00 be raised and appropriated for materials and expenses for Town wide drainage project to be constructed by W. P. A., $500.00 of which is allocated to drainage on Maple Street.
Street Lights
Article 50. Voted : That the sum of $16.24 be raised and appropriated to install one electric light on Hills Street.
Article 51. Voted: That the sum of $32.48 be raised and appropriated for the installation of two electric lights on Druid Hill Avenue.
Article 52. Voted: That the sum of $16.24 be raised and appropriated for the installation of one electric light at the corner of Woodlawn Road and Sherwood Avenue.
Article 53. Voted: That the sum of $32.48 be raised and appropriated for the installation of two electric lights on Royal Street.

Water Mains
Article 58. Voted: That the sum of $1,030.00 be raised and appropriated for materials for the installation of a water main for approximately nine hundred (900) feet on Eugenia Street, labor to be furnished by the Employment Fund.
Article 59. Voted: That the sum of $310.00 be raised and appropriated for materials for the installation of water pipes on Wyman Road, from Fairfield Road to Lancaster Road, a distance of 240 feet; labor to be sup- plied by the Employment Fund.
Article 60. Voted: That the sum of $475.00 be raised and appropriated for materials for the installation of water pipes on Fairfield Road from Mill Street to Wy- man Road, a distance of 350 feet; labor to be furnished by the Employment Fund.

SPECIAL TOWN MEETING, 1940
Randolph, Mass., November 18, 1940
Article 1. Voted Unanimously: That the Town vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money for :
Old Age Assistance $4,000.00
Public Welfare 7,000.00
Aid to Dependent Children 1,000.00
Soldiers' Relief 1,000.00
and authorize the Treasurer, with the approval of the Selectmen, to borrow under authority of and in accord- ance with the provisions of Chapter 72 of the Acts of 1939.
Article 2. Voted: That the Town authorize the School Committee to transfer the unexpended balance in the salary account, amounting to $700.00, to the School Expense Account.

RECOUNT OF BALLOTS CAST FOR GOVERNOR
Randolph, Mass., December 2, 1940.
The Registrars of Voters of Randolph met this day at 1.30 o'clock P. M., in the Town Hall, to recount the bal- lots cast for Governor at the State Election held Novem- ber 5, 1940.
The ballots were all recounted, resealed and placed under seal in the election cases.
Representatives were present from the two political parties.
