TOWN MEETING WARRANT.
COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS, NORFOLK, SS.
o HENRY H. FRANCIS, or either of the Constables of the Town of Randolph, in said County, GREETING :
You are hereby required to notify and warn the inhabitants f said town of Randolph. qualified to vote in town affairs, assemble at Stetson Hall in said town, on Monday, the e fifth day of April next, at nine o'clock in the forenoon, en and there to act on the following articles ; namely, -
ART. 1. To chose a moderator to preside at said meeting. ART. 2. To chose all such town officers as towns are by w authorized, and required to chose at their annual meet- g. Also a trustee for Stetson School Fund.
ART. 3. To see if the town will request the selectmen ot to grant or issue any license or licenses for the sale of toxicating liquors during the current year, as petitioned for y Winslow Battles and others, the vote to be taken by allot.
ART. 4. To raise such sums of money as may be deemed ecessary for the support of schools, and appropriate the me.
ART. 5. To raise such sums of money as may be thought roper for repairs of school building and incidental expenses f schools.

ART. 16. To see if the town will authorize the selectmen to build and improve the sidewalk on the north side of War- ren street from the land of the Old Colony Railroad Corpo- ration to Main street, and raise and appropriate money for the same.
ART. 17. To see what action the town will take in rela- tion to the purchasing of a stone-crusher, as petitioned for by F. Porter and others.
ART. 18. To see if the town will abolish the present highway surveyor system, and elect one surveyor of high- ways, as petitioned for by F. Porter and others.
ART. 19. To see what action the town will take in rela- tion to providing a paid police for the ensuing year.
ART. 20. To see what action, if any, the town will take relative to medical attendance upon the poor for the ensuing year.
ART. 21. To see what action the town will take in re- lation to raising and making an appropriation for the Turner Free Library ; also, to see if the town will appropriate the money received for dog licenses for the ensuing year to the use of said library.
ART. 22. To see if the town will authorize and appoint the selectmen to be agents and attorneys for the town, to prosecute, defend, compromise and settle any and all suits and proceedings in which the town may be in any way en- gaged or interested as a party, or otherwise, for the ensuing year.
ART. 23. To see if the town will authorize the collector of taxes to use the same means which a town treasurer may ise when acting as collector.

ART. 24. To see if the town will authorize the collector of taxes to charge interest at the rate of six per centum per annum on all taxes remaining unpaid on and after October 10, 1880.
ART. 25. To hear reports of committees and act thereon.
And you are directed to serve this warrant, by posting attested copies thereof at five or more public places in said town, seven days at least before the time of holding said meeting.
Hereof, fail not, and make due return of this warrant, with your doings thereon, to the town clerk, on or before the day and hour appointed for said meeting.
