TOWN OF RANDOLPH, MASS. Report of the Selectmen and Overseers of Public Welfare
Your Board of Selectmen have continued to conduct the affairs of their department in an economical and just man- ner. We extend our appreciation to the members of all civic and patriotic organizations who gave of their time and ef- forts during the past year.
Believing that consideration should be given to the erection of a memorial to the veterans, we have appointed a committee who are studying plans to be presented at some future Town Meeting.
So that the Town of Randolph may give official recogni- tion to the men and women who left their Home Town to serve in the Armed Forces, we are sponsoring the appoint- ment of a committee to be appointed at the Annual Town Meeting to make arrangements for a Welcome Home Cele- bration.
To assist all veterans and their relatives who seek in- formation and advice, the Veterans' Rehabilitation Commit- tee, appointed by this Board, are available at the Turner Library building each Monday evening.
We take this opportunity to thank all department heads for their co-operation during the past year.
CHARLES F. BLAKELY, Chairman, RALPH H. HUTCHINSON, Clerk, THEODORE S. LUDDINGTON,
Board of Selectmen

ONE HUNDRED AND TENTH ANNUAL REPORT Report of the Historian of World War II
To the Members of the Board of Selectmen:
We submit for publication the Honor Roll of the men and women of Randolph who had successfully dedicated themselves to stop the march of enemies intent on despoil- ing the world.
In this, our fourth consecutive report, we cannot stress too greatly, our humble appreciation to all who have aided in the compilation of the Randolph Honor Roll.
We again recommend that documentation and chron- icling of the services given by our men and women during World War II should exist in the permanent records of the Town of Randolph.
We are pleased to report that our recommendation of consideration to the establishment of a Memorial to our World War II heroes, has bestirred action from your Board and we trust that the Committee appointed by your Board will successfully serve toward that goal.
The many circumstances out of our control, in gather- ing the data necessary for the compiling of this Honor Roll, makes it necessary to report that the completeness of the Honor Roll and the many factors attending it, cannot be warranted.
The year ... nineteen hundred and forty-five ... shall ever be unforgetable. VICTORY IS OURS ...
Respectfully submitted,
MURRAY LEWIS, Historian World War II Activities
