Article 11. To see what action the Town will take to amend the By-Laws of the Town so that the Annual Town Meeting for the transaction of business shall be held on the evening of the third Monday of March at 7:30, and the Annual Meeting for the election of officers shall be held on the first Monday of March at 8:00 A. EAST by Old Street;
SOUTH by land of Albert and Margaret Cripps;

Article 13. To see if the Moderator will appoint a committee to act in the name and behalf of the Town to purchase or take by eminent domain under General Laws, Chapter 79, for the purpose of Sewage Land (Plant and Disposal) a parcel of land known as Broad Meadows, off North Street, Randolph, bounded and described as follows :
EAST by Cochato River ;
WEST by Trout Brook and land of John Collins, North Street ;
SOUTH by land of Mabel and Horace Mann, heirs of Mann Estate ;
NORTH by land owned by St. Mary's Catholic Church ; Containing approximately 28 acres of land.
Article 14. To see what action the Town Meeting Members will take in accepting the first nine (9) sections of Chapter 80, General Laws.
Article 15. To see what action the Town will take relative to the Election of Selectmen for terms of three years, pursuant to the provisions of the General Laws.
Article 16. To see if the Town will vote to accept the provisions of Section 97A of Chapter 41 of the General Laws (Ter. ED.) as inserted by Chapter 595 of the Acts of 1948, which provides generally for the establishment of a police department to be under the supervision of a chief of police who shall be in immediate control of property used by said department and of the police officers whom he shall assign to their respective duties and who shall obey his orders, as petitioned for.
Article 17. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Selectmen to execute and deliver to Jesse E. Taber and/or

Mildred B. Taber a deed of a parcel of land situated on the westerly side of North Main Street, in said Randolph, mea- suring thirty feet in width by approximately 150 feet in depth, being the northerly thirty feet of the land recently conveyed by the said Tabers to the Town, IN EXCHANGE for a parcel of the same width and depth adjoining the south- erly side of the land so conveyed, or take any other action relative thereto.
Article 18. To see if the Town will vote to amend the Zoning Laws as provided for in Chapter 40 of the General Laws as follows: That the area at the junction of North, Liberty and Allen Streets, title for which is in the name of Ralph P. and Ruth M. Condlin, be included in the Business District, as petitioned for.
Article 19 To see if the Town will vote to amend the Zoning Laws as provided for in Chapter 40 of the General Laws as follows : That the area at the junction of Lafayette and High Streets, title for which is in the name of Thomas H. and Arlene V. Wrigley, be included in the Business Dis- trict.
Article 20. To see if the Town will vote to amend the Zoning Laws as provided for in Chapter 40 of the General Laws as follows: That the area, title for which is in the name of Jesse E. and Mildred Taber, on the west side of North Main Street, between the fire station lot owned by the town and the business zone at the corner of Canton Street and North Main Street, with a frontage of about two hundred and ninety-five (295) feet, be included as a business district, as petitioned for.
Article 21. To see if the Town will vote to permit the operation of a trailer camp at 1201 North Main Street, said camp to house approximately fifteen (15) trailers on a monthly basis.
Article 22. To see if the Town will vote to permit the establishment of one Trailer Camp on the property of Rich- ard A. Gottsman, High Street, as petitioned for by Harry Wilson and Paul E. Maxham and others.
Article 23. To see if the Town will vote to amend the Zoning Laws as provided for in Chapter 40 of the General Laws as follows: That the area, title for which is in the name of Norman Jacobsen, with a frontage of approximate-

ly 125 feet facing north and 250 feet south on the southerly side of Billings Street, between the property of the Braeburn Club, and property of one Mr. Pontuso, be included in the business district, for the purpose of erecting a roller skating rink.
Article 24. To see if the Town will vote to amend the Zoning Laws as provided for in Chapter 40 of the General Laws as follows: That the area at 388 South Main Street title for which is in the name of Otto H. Stein be included in the Business District
Article 25. To see if the Town will vote to amend the Zoning Laws as provided for in Chapter 40 of the General Laws as follows : That the existing Zoning Laws be amended so that no Trailer Camp or Camps be permitted in Randolph. A Trailer Camp or Court is defined as more than (1) Trailer.
Article 26. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Selectmen to acquire by gift or purchase or take by right of eminent domain in fee or otherwise for the purpose of public street or highway such portions of land on the westerly side of North Main Street between Crawford Square and West Street and abutting the present location and lay-out of North Main Street, as may be necessary to widen said street in accordance with its new lay-out, and raise and appropriate or transfer such sum or sums of money as may be necessary for that purpose.
Article 27. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from the E. and D. Account the sum of $3,375.00 for the water construction program in conjunction with the widening of North Main Street.
Article 28 To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate $200.00 for a Playground Supervisor at Belcher Park during July and August 1950
Article 29 To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money to erect and equip a new fire station in North Randolph on land owned by the Town of Randolph situated adjacent to the Capeway Clothing Com- pany and to determine if the money shall be raised by taxa- tion, by borrowing or by transfer from available funds, or take any other action in relation thereto.

Article 30. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $1,000.00 for the control, care and eradication of the Dutch Elm Disease in the Town of Randolph under Chapter 761 General Laws, Acts of 1949 (effective August 27, 1949). This appropriation must be voted on as a special item at the annual Town Meeting, and a reimursement of $300.00 is made to the Town of Randolph by the State of Massachusetts.
Article 31. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $18,000.00 to be expended under the direction of a committee composed of the Board of Assessors Chairman of the Finance Committee and five (5) Citizens appointed by the Moderator. The purpose of this committee is to secure the services of a competent Survey Company to conduct a professional survey of Real Estate Values in the Town. This company to establish adequate maps and an up to date card index system.
Article 32. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money to publish the history of the Town of Randolph as already compiled.
STREET LAYOUTS
Article 33. To see if the Town will vote to layout Powdrell Avenue as petitioned for.
Article 34. To see if the Town will vote to layout Forest Avenue, as petitioned for.
Article 35. To see if the Town will vote to layout Fuller Street from Pond Street to Morgan Street, 400 feet, and to raise and appropriate money for same.
Article 36. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money to layout Waldo Street from present layout to High Street.
Article 37. To see if the Town will vote to layout Bossi Avenue from the present layout for a distance of 300 feet, running easterly.
STREET ACCEPTANCES
Article 38. To see if the Town will vote to accept Forest Avenue as laid out by the Board of Selectmen, as petitioned for.

STREET CONSTRUCTION
Article 40. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money in conjunction with the State Department of Public Works, under Chapter "90" to build Liberty Street from North Main Street to North Street.
Article 41. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $2400.00 to resurface Wilmarth Road, a distance of 950 feet as petitioned for.
Article 42. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money to re-construct South Street under Chapter "90" or otherwise.
Article 43. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate funds for the construction of a sidewalk on the entire length on Lafayette Street.
Article 44. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate funds for the construction of a sidewalk on the north side of Warren Street from its present terminus at Toomey's Store to West Street.
Article 45. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money to construct two sections of bituminous sidewalk - one on the north side of Warren Street from the present sidewalk to West Street a distance of approximately 760 feet -- the other on the west side of Lafayette Street a distance of 3200 feet.
Article 46. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $1200.00 to build Orchard Street from the Cemetery to Oak Street.
Article 47. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $1600.00 to build Martin Terrace a distance of 700 feet.
Article 48. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money to put a black tar road on Grove Street.
Article 49. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $300.00 to point up the Town stone wall in front of No. 295 Center Street.

Article 50. To see if the Town will acquire by pur- chase or by Eminent Domain for School Building and Play Ground purposes, the land and buildings thereon in North Randolph described as follows : Beginning at the southwest corner of land of one Edward Kinney; thence northerly approximately 500 feet to Dow Street, so-called; thence in an easterly direction by Dow Street about 360 feet; thence southerly by lands of Teed, and land of the Town of Ran- dolph occupied as the "Devine School" about 560 feet; thence westerly 340 feet to the point of beginning.
Article 51. To see if the Town will acquire by pur- chase or by Eminent Domain for Playground purposes the land in North Randolph described as follows: Beginning at the southwest corner of land of one Edward Kinney; thence northerly approximately 500 feet to Dow Street so- called; thence in an easterly direction by Dow street about 360 feet; thence southerly by lands of Teed and land of the Town of Randolph occupied as the "Devine School" about 325 feet; thence westerly 150 feet; thence southerly 235 feet to land of owners unknown; thence westerly 190 feet to the point of beginning, as petitioned for by North Randolph Playground Committee appointed at the Annual Town Meeting of March 1948, and to raise and appropriate money therefor.
Article 52. To see if the Town will vote to establish a Planning Board under the provisions of Chapter 41, Section 81-A of the General Laws.
DRAINAGE
Article 53. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $3600.00 for gravel and grading, and drainage system on Woodlawn Road, as petitioned for.
Article 54. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $1000.00 to construct a surface water drainage system on Highland Avenue between Nor- folk Road and Fairmount Street.
Article 55. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money in conjunction with the State Department of Public Works, under Chapter "90" to pipe the drainage system of Canton Street, beginning near the corner of Old Street and running to North Main Street.

Article 56. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $1000.00 to construct a drainage system on Wales Avenue for a distance of 300 feet.
Article 57 To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $1400.00 to construct a drainage system on Fowler Street for an approximate distance of 300 feet.
Article 58. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $1000.00 to complete the drainage system on Cole Terrace.
Article 59. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money in conjunction with the State, under Chapter "90" to eliminate two dangerous corners - on the south side of Warren Street opposite West Street and on the south side of West Street opposite Lafayette Street.
WATER MAINS
Article 60. To see if the Town will vote to instruct the Board of Water Commissioners to install a six-inch water main with gates and hydrant on Park Street for a distance of 450 feet in place of the one and one-quarter (11/4) inch water main already there, which has proved inadequate, and to raise and appropriate money therefor, this appropriation to include sufficient funds to put street in same condition, as petitioned for.
Article 61. To see if the Town will vote to instruct the Board of Water Commissioners to install a six-inch water main with gates and hydrant on Maitland Avenue for a distance of 600 feet in place of a one inch water main already there, which has proved inadequate, and to raise and appropriate money therefor.
Article 62. To see if the Town will vote to extend the six-inch (6") water main with the necessary gates and hydrants for a distance of 250' on High Street, and to raise and appropriate a sum of money to cover the cost of same.
Article 63. To see if the Town will vote to continue the present water main with the necessary gates and hydrants to the end of Cole Terrace as laid-out and accepted by the Town of Randolph, approximately 300 feet, and to raise and appropriate the necessary money for same.

Article 64. To see if the Town will vote to instruct the Board of Water Commissioners to install a water main with gates and hydrants for the remainder of Grove Street, and up to Lafayette Street, as petitioned for.
Article 65. To see if the Town will vote to instruct the Board of Water Commssioners to install a six inch (6") water main on Saratoga Street to replace the existing one and one-quarter (11/4) inch main for a distance of 300 feet and raise and appropriate money therefor.
Article 66. To see if the Town will vote to instruct the Water Commissioners to install a six inch (6") water main, with gates and hydrant, from the existing water main on Vine Street (the line is now dead-end requiring flushing several times a year) to Lafayette Street, a distance of 1650 feet, and to raise and appropriate money therefor, this appropriation to include sufficient funds to put street in same condition as now existing.
Article 67. To see if the town will vote to instruct the Board of Water Commissioners to install a six-inch (6") water main with gates and hydrants on Cedar Drive and Cedar Circle for a distance of 1000 feet, and to raise and appropriate money therefor.
Article 68. To see if the Town will vote to instruct the Water Commissioners to install a six-inch (6") water main with gates and hydrant on Reed Street, in place of the one and one-quarter (11/4) inch main already there.
STREET LIGHTS
Article 69. To see if the Town will vote to install three street lights on Selwyn Road and to raise and appro- priate the sum of $54.00 for same as petitioned for.
